Endings Guide [SPOILERS]

Overview

I couldn't find a guide in English for getting the various endings, so here's a very rough translation of the important bits from this guide posted by Gimin. Credits to them for compiling this info first.

Note: To see all the ending branches, you will have to replay day 7 several times. Instead of going through the whole game again each time, you can either (A) click on settings and return to title, or (B) press alt+F4 to close the game once the "END" screen comes up (if you click to go back to the main screen after the "END" screen comes up, you will have to go through the game again).

Ending Branches

To get the various endings, you'll need to have deciphered a couple key words, so check out some other guides on Steam if you need help figuring out words. There is only one thing you need to do in the first 6 days that can affect which ending you get, everything else is resolved on day 7. Many of these endings are just small variations of each other.

Obviously, SPOILERS AHEAD.

In order to open the secret room, tell Theo to wait in the dining room, go to the alchemy room, click on the box on the second shelf to reveal a code entry, select the symbols for your name, then click the button on the right. Once the room is opened, get Theo to follow you again, and go to the alchemy room . This should be the only thing you need to do before day 7 to get endings B through D. With all that in mind, here are the possible ending branches:

Did not open the secret room

Ending A-1: When prompted for a word, answer with "Death"

Ending A-2: When prompted for a word, answer with any other word

Opened the secret room AND on day 7, answered with the words: Death > Understand

Ending B-1: Answer with "Thanks"

Ending B-2: Answer with "Love"

(Answering here with any word other than "Thanks", "Love" or "Sin" leads you back to ending A-1)

Opened the secret room AND on day 7, answered with the words: Death > Understand > Sin/Punish

Ending C: Accept

Opened the secret room AND on day 7, answered with the words: Death > Understand > Sin/Punish > End

Ending D-1: Answer with any word other than "Love" or "Theo"

Ending D-2: Answer with "love"

Ending D-3: Answer with "Theo" (True ending)
