Step 1: Upgrade to Windows 11. Yes, this is important-- at least it was for me. I don't like switching OS either, however, it's been months now and most WIndows 11 bugs have been cleaned up. Warhammer definitely runs better on Windows 11 for me, shouldnt matter but it does.
Step 2: TOP LEFT: STEAM --> SETTINGS ->> IN GAME --> STEAM NETWORKING --> FROM DEFAULT TO FRIENDS ONLY.
Also make sure the computer if at all possible is provided ethernet, and that you have the game running on an ssd. If you dont have an ssd please go buy one? Pretty cheap.
Step 1 and Step 2 changed my game from a slideshow, to a game as smooth as singleplayer campaign. Nobody likes to offer anything online, or in discord, so I thought this was worth something.
