welcome to your new job!. i,m the manager. i want you to do things way we do. number 1: the railroad is already built and remember use the telegraph offices to move place to place or ask for help. number 2: respect equipment and do not use swears and inapportion words. number 3: please operate at a safe speed and do not go over the cross over when a engine is going over it!. number 4: please show respect for all and everything. number 5: if a derail occurs. try to do it your self. do not try derail on purpose. number 6: respect industry and do the loads safely and responsibly. that is for this page so move on over!

Knowing Where To Go And Where To Be

if you are confused about what industry to go to. if you get these class jobs. class 1-3: class 1: logging and cord-wood jobs. class 2: cord-wood or beams run. class 3: plank run.

class 4-6: class 4: coal or iron runs. class 5: snowplowing or boxcar run. class 6: maintenance run. these will be able earn a high or low pay. please remember. no long trains as this will strain both engines. keep a caboose with you at all times to be sure you have more braking power. after the runs the locomotives will be put up in the sheds or siding to keep out of the mainline

Locomotives And Class Types

let's meet the engines.

Betsy: a small 0-4-0 Saddle Tank, named after a female worker named Betsy berry. built in early 1860.

Porter: a small 0-4-2 saddle tank. named after the h.k porter company. and common shunter.

Bryson: a class B Climax. named after sir Bryon "Bryson" Rutherford

Wyatt: named after Wyatt Lenny. primary a common goods engine. the engine is 4-4-0 tender engine

Klaus H.S: named after an american sitcom character made by Seth McFarland. he is heisler engine

Stanley Hatfield: named after a worker at Cooke. Stanley is light goods engine and a 2-6-0 tender engine.

Chloe: named after a little girl from west Virginia. a heavy coal engine and a 2-8-0 tender engine.

joybell: a small 2-4-0 tender engine. built by Baldwin she is engine stationed at the smelter. and a light boxcar hauler

GrayApple: named after a small Texas Town. Gray-apple is a 0-6-0 Saddle-Tank and is found at the iron works.

JWL: a Shay engine built by Lima and a rare steal hauler. sometimes seen hauling steal to the freight depot

GlennFord: GlennFord is another 2-6-0 tender built in 1874 by Baldwin and worked for pine valley steal until 1875. GlennFord is common Log hauler

Belle: another 2-8-0 built by Baldwin. Belle does coal runs to smelter. and lives at the coal mine

Don Sharp: another 2-8-0. built in [unknown]. built by Baldwin. Don does the cord-wood runs

Quick History

Westland Lumber Company (Reporting Mark: WLCO) founded in 1891. Westland Began operations at 2,000$ and later got 10,00000$ and 93 cents. through out the late 1890s and into the early 1910s. the company made more purchases and then finally had enough to go. in 1923 after some years of financial troubles the company was acquired BB LOGGING.Co (founded in 1894 and went out of business in 1992). the rail network remains preserved and now still has the same engines from before in new paint jobs
