Introduction
This guide is aimed towards helping you achieve all the achievements in HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED as fast as possible. The Batman Expansion is required in order to 100% the game. More DLC are likely to be required, at a similar price.

Natural Progression
First thing I want to get out of the way is the achievements you probably do not need to think about while completing the game. Here is a list of the achievements that should be unlocked naturally:
Podium = top 3
First-timer Complete the tutorial.
You're good! Reach the podium in a total of 10 Quick Races (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Not Kidding! Reach the podium in a total of 30 Quick Races (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
The most feared Reach the podium in a total of 50 Quick Races (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Terror of the road Reach the podium in a total of 100 Quick Races (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Full speed Use the Boost for a total of 10 minutes.
Like lightning Use the Boost for a total of 30 minutes.
Faster than light Use the Boost for a total of 60 minutes.
Master of drift Drift for a total of 500,000 centimetres (196,850 inches).
Singleplayer
All of the achievements related to the singleplayer, "HOT WHEELS CITY RUMBLE". For the Batman Part, see the Batman section below.
I will try to give tips where it's needed, but most of it is fairly self explanatory. You're required to 100% the singleplayer map in order to gain all singleplayer achievements. This includes every race, every time trial, every secret pad, every boss battle, and you have to reach the unleashed goal in all of them.
Tips to make the singleplayer easier:
- Turn AI difficulty to easy. This will make all the races trivial, and not require a lot of skill to win.
- If you struggle with time trials, try to get a better car first. My best experiences were with the Koenigsegg Jesko or 24 Ours, though the Power Rocket and Bad to the Blade were really solid cars too. There are probably other good ones, but these are my most used ones.
- Adding to time trials, another tips is to look up shortcuts on youtube.
For the 5 hardest time trials, I recommend checking out This Video. All credits to the creator, Vinewood Motors.

Keeper of Secrets Meet the requirements of all the Secret Race Pads
Unlocking all the "secret" cars is pretty simple. Each secret car got a seperate requirement, but they are all related to 100% singleplayer.
There is a total of 5 secret cars in the game. The way to get these is to uncover all 9 secret pads, beating all races, all time trials and all boss races. Once all 4 of these is unlocked, you unlock the 5th and last secret car, and the achievement will pop.

Multiplayer
There are currently three multiplayer achievements. These can be unlocked naturally, if you want, but they can also be boosted with a partner.
Go to multiplayer ⮕ Create private lobby ⮕ Set course to "Lobby creator" ⮕ Create Lobby
Now you can invite your boosting partner. If you want to spend as little time, I recommend scrolling to the side until you can find a really fast map, preferably a 1 lap course, and not a 3 lap circuit. Take turns, and win 5 times each, and both will unlock all three multiplayer achievements.
One against all Complete a Quick Race in Multiplayer mode
You have what it takes Reach the podium in a total of 3 Quick Races in Multiplayer mode.
Unstoppable Win a total of 5 Quick Races in Multiplayer mode
Miscellaneous
This section will contain all of the miscellaneous achievements, that might not unlock naturally through your playthrough.
Shop ⮕ Blind Box or Limited Offers ⮕ Purchase anything
Spendthrift Make a purchase in the Shop
Quick modes ⮕ Quick race ⮕ Win one race on any track in Skyscraper/College Campus/Skatepark/Garage.
Awesome view! Win a Quick Race on any track in the Skyscraper (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
What time is the test? Win a Quick Race on any track in the College Campus (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Go beyond limits Win a Quick Race on any track in the Skatepark (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Welcome to the Basement Win a Quick Race on any track in the Basement (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Will you park it for me? Win a Quick Race on any track in the Garage (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
Split Screen requires a controller. You only need to complete the race.
Quick modes ⮕ Split Screen ⮕ Any car/map
Friends no more Complete a race in Split Screen mode.
For this one, you need to set the AI difficulty to Hard, and win a race. Recommended to either use a Shortcut - (thanks to WheatYT for this guide) or to use a shorter map you're comfortable racing in.
Now try online Win a Quick Race with AI Difficulty set to Hard (not unlockable in Split Screen mode).
For these two achievements, you will need to validate 5 total tracks. This will only take a few minutes.
Track Builder ⮕Choose any (I went with basement) ⮕ Pick courses, and not circuit for start. ⮕ Place a starting line ⮕ Pick a finishing line ⮕ Validate ⮕ Finish the course ⮕Leave, start a new track builder course & repeat x5

Batman Expansion
Required DLC:

The Batman Expansion adds a few new maps, vehicles and a small new section in the singleplayer map. It is a completely seperate entity, and 100% in the expansion is not required. The achievements for the Batman DLC should only take you about ~10-15 minutes.
To get this achievement, you need to reach the Unleashed Goal. The easiest way to reach it, is to finish 1st place in a race in the Batman Expansion City. Make sure AI is on easy.
First night on the streets Complete the Unleashed Goal of one of the Event of the HOT WHEELS™ - Batman Expansion
To get this achievement, you need to upgrade the rarity of a common vehicle from the BATMAN expansion.
Head over to collection ⮕Find a common Batman vehicle (in example, Armored Batman or Batman Rebirth) ⮕Upgrade it with gears.
Research and Development Upgrade the Rarity of one common vehicle of the HOT WHEELS™ - Batman Expansion.
Quick modes ⮕ Quick Race ⮕ Choose any car ⮕ Choose any race in the "Batcave" section ⮕ Win the race.
Get him! Win a Quick Race track in the Batcave (not unlockable in Split Screen).
Grind
These are the achievements considered the grindy ones. They're split into three parts:
- Total earned coins/gears
- Opening blind boxes
- Upgrading rarity of vehicles.
Total earned coins/gears:
These achievements are related to your total income. You can freely use both your money and gears as you do not need to have it all at once. Currently, there is no way to see your total income.
The best way to grind coins and gears is to complete your daily challenges for the Racing Season. The pass is ~$5 if you want premium, but the free pass still awards you coins and gears. About every other tier gives you ~3500 coins and ~500 gears up until level 50. Daily challenges usually only take about 10-20 minutes, and you usually get ~1 new level a day.
If you want to maximize your profits earned, you can sell all cars for either coins or gears, however this isn't too necessary considering the amount earned from the racing season.
Tiny hoard Get a total of 10,000 Coins.
Growing profit Get a total of 50,000 Coins.
Unbridled Luxury Get a total of 100,000 Coins.
I need more! Get a total of 2,500 Gears
Not enough! Get a total of 10,000 Gears
What do I do with so many? Get a total of 25,000 Gears
Blind boxes:
For these, I recommend first getting all the free blind boxes from the singleplayer. This should put you on a good way to completing the boxes. The rest of them, you simply just buy from the store.
Shop ⮕ Blind Box ⮕ Buy/Open

Try your luck Open a total of 10 Blind Boxes.
Wild unpacker Open a total of 50 Blind Boxes.
Box collector Open a total of 100 Blind Boxes
Upgrading the rarity of vehicles:
- 10 common vehicles
- 15 rare vehicles
I would recommend saving this achievement until you got leftover gears. You should focus gears on cars you actually want to use in the start. Other than that, common vehicles are grey ones, and rare vehicles are teal. Simply upgrade them in your collection.
