- Find Chokepoints

First things first.

The easiest solution would always b to find a choke point.

Find a spot where u can force enemys into a bottleneck situation.

Its a good tactic to get into the flow, with time and experience u will most likely doin it.

But for now we'll stick with it.

U can use at least 1 turret and have a bit of space behind u to fall back if it gets a bit stressy.

Fire turrets r great to burn lots of Xenos and damage over time before they reach u.

If ur a technician, u'll have a special flame thrower turret available.

A decend way to turn all those Xenos into rare steaks.

Its not easy to see enemys thru clouds of fire tough, but usually its worth the trade.

Stun turrets r great cause they slow the waves.

Some Xenos will attack turrets.

U buy turrets, they buy u time.

That way u can gain control of space around u.

One soldier may carry 2 different types of support materials, u have 2 slots available.

3 turrets for each slot, that makes 6 turrets of two different types.

Mind that abilities wont cause friendly fire, that counts for turrets too.

Ask our dear friend Sgt Park for restocks.

Check different positions, some will b better while others will turn into graveyards.

- Train Ur Positioning

Try ALWAYS to stay in a position that lowers chances to get into friendly fire situations.

If u roll away from enemys, roll straight back or forward.

Try to avoid left or right in corridoors or tight spaces.

And plz dont run in circles like some headless chicken.

Dont listen to ABBA, ur NOT the dancin queen.

Dont aim AND go left and right if u dont have to, dont strafe.

It doesnt make any sense cause most Xenos dont have weapons, lucky u they wont shoot.

Synths r another story tho.

Dont move if u dont have to, u'll step into the firelines of ur team m8es.

And dont just say "Oh he/she/it could have seen that i was bla".

No. Cause the UACM accomplished tons of things, but we cant read ur damn minds...not yet.

Know where ur team m8es r.

So u dont land pump action's right into each others faces.

Whats the best pos for a turret?

Right infront of ur team, or maybe not?

Where to throw stun grenades?

Stay awake soldier, cause Xenos will.

- Train Ur Map Awareness

The general UACM Marine guide image 44

Have an eye on ur motion tracker every few seconds, so u know where enemys b comin from and if they spawn behind ur team.

Keep ur eyes and ears open, every corner has a chance for an assault.

Stay calm and dont loose ur mind over sudden swarm situations.

It can happen, and it will happen.

- Have Closer Look On Ur Weapons

The general UACM Marine guide image 51

Maybe u can tweak ur upgrades a bit.

The heavyer things r, the more one needs to b able to act fast.

So fire rate and reload speed comes into play, try to improve ur upgrades and playstyle.

Max out ur weapons.

Make different pofiles for ur weapons.

Name ur weapons, they r ur best friends out there.

And if u ladys r havin trouble sometimes...give her a few hrs.

It's got its mind made up, it needs to feel ur touch.

Check ur loadout.

Many turrets to play it safe?

Which ones make sense?

Or rather somethin else?

As Xero over there said, Cryogrids r useful to slow down the swarm.

Keep ur perimeter under control.

Drones r great buffs for like 90 seconds, they dont stack so dont waste'em.

- Have A Closer Look On Ur Builds

The general UACM Marine guide image 71

Boosting ur own damage can b cool, but one might consider to also boost the team.

Maybe some lvls require special builds, cause Synth's r not Xenos.

They use guns, and guns r bad news.

Watch utube vids and Twitch streams to see what ppl do and see their combinations.

Learn the difference between posing and teamwork.

A decend combination can make the difference between a good job and bein fed with a Xeno larva.

This could b helpful -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me96EJrZieE&list=PL9BEGPb07dNUJ4VNLYaoZWLO1zJmrmqTN

There r many more guides, just look them up they r easy to find.

- Learn The Individual Levels

Play levels on Intense, until u rly know the spots and the exact way how everything works.

Try different chokepoint locations, check what could b ur personal best weapon setting for each level.

Sometimes a pistol might b the best solution, sometimes u may prefer a grenade launcher or whatever.

1-2, 2-3 and 4-2 r great trainin grounds dependin on what u wanna try.

Priority One: Rescue (spoiler alert)

Xenos only, few swarms in different sized rooms, last room is rather small with a quite small perimeter.

Giants in The Earth: Evacuate (spoiler alert)

Xenos and Synths, snipin opportunity, last place is quite huge with many MANY different Synths including Elite Flamethrowers and Miniguns.

The Only Way to Be Sure: Search (spoiler alert)

Xenos only, many tight hallways, eggs with Facehuggers and other surprises, last room is quite big.

1-2 is the fastest/easyest to try out new weapons (imo), but im sure u'll gonna find ur own errm yard.

- Learn The Rules

Did u know about friendly fire?

Do u know how it works?

Do u know the differences between easy and standart, intense and extreme?

Learn the rules BEFORE u throw urself into blind action.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2981046470

Or u'll find urself in completely lost situations, chaos and Total Annihilation.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2583476874

- Keep Ur Nose Down

A mistake that makes u humble is better than an achievement that makes u arrogant.

So if ur thinkin that pro mode sittin duck at the end of some hallway will safe ur butt all the time.

Im afraid i have to tell u Xenos may not follow that plan cause they didnt get that intel.

Dont let insane moments with friends in safezone teams fool u.

It gets wild out there.

U will play with all kinds of soldiers.

Ppl will make mistakes, directions will not b followed, weapons will suck, ppl will disconnect, networks will fail, tin cans will join teams, u will get swarmed and butts will b fried.

Sometimes its a matter of seconds to get wiped out intense, even if u thought everythin was goin well.

Stay in control of the situation, control ur perimeter.

Hell i have seen Marines burn down like candles just cause somebody turned around holdin a flamethrower, while some Praetorian jumped in to rip someone's head off.

- Become The Teammate U Wanna Play With

Try to stay focused, concentrate.

U think there r many bad players or not very helpful ones?

Be the change u want to see.

Do u wanna be first line, or second line?

Think first before u move.

Spam ammunition whenever theres time to.

Dont just run thru the lvls like crazy, it sucks.

Sometimes 1 step back, makes ur team get 2 steps forward.

Sounds odd, but we're here for fun...and dying is no fun.

Become the best version possible of urself.

Dont listen to the "bla its so easy u just need to bla bla" ppls.

They talk too much.

Too much talkin is a waste of time.

And wasted time just generates dead meat or more Xenos.

Help others, stay calm and share ur experiences.

Be nice, recall ur own first steps.

Wasnt easy to get into stuff right?

So dont fk around with Recruits, u dont get paid for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Share Intel positions and chests.

- Use Buff Cards

More damage, more hp...whatever, it helps.

- Watch "Aliens", Which Is Alien 2, To Get Into The Right Mood

Okay...u dont need to...but i think it helps.

- Famous Last Words

There r many more things that can hlp u out.

But we got basic stuff covered.

Thats it Marine.

Good luck out there.

Today, You People Are No Longer Maggots. Today, You Are Marines.

You're part of a brotherhood.

From now on, until the day you die, wherever you are, every Marine is your brother.

Most of you will go to LV-856.

Some of you will not come back.

But always remember this:

Marines die. That's what we're here for. But the UACM lives forever and that means you live forever.
