Trading Guide

Trading Guide

Intro

This guide is inspired by Trade Sheet by CivilizedMisanthrope. I used his guide a lot before the most recent community update. After the update I noticed some of the numbers didn't match so I wanted to update them.

Normal Trading Spreadsheet

Trading Guide image 3

This image shows where to get the best prices for trade goods without any trade bonus. It also shows how long it takes to travel between each trade post.

The Buying Table shows what price you can buy trade goods at.

The Selling Table shows what price you can sell trade goods at.

The Buying From -> Selling To Table shows the profits you can make by selling trade goods at each town.

You can make easy trades by starting in either Stromkapp or Marheim. Both of these towns have a static trader nearby that doesn't require a border pass or 200 Krowns to access.

From Stromkapp, travel to the Border Crossing near Cortia. There you will find a trader who will buy Stromkapps trade goods for 3-4 Krowns profit. It's not much.

From Marhiem, travel to Brownrock Town. There you can sell Marhiems trade goods for 3-6 Krowns profit. Again its not much but its something.

Bonus Trading Spreadsheet

This image shows where to get the best prices for trade goods with the 10% buying and 5% selling trade good bonus's. You can get these bonus's from the Wealth Path. It also shows how long it takes to travel between each trade post.

Power Level Wealth And Craftsmanship Path

The Stromkapp Inn sells brandy at 3 Krowns.

You can sell the brandy back for 2 Krowns.

Occasionally the Inn will sell the Brandy at 2 Krowns.

You can sell this discounted Brandy at 2 Krowns.

So, you can just buy discounted Brandy at the Stromkapp Inn and sell it back over and over again to level up Wealth and Craftsmanship.

Buying 100 discounted items gives you 2 PP towards Wealth and Craftsmanship

Selling 100 crafted items gives you another 2 PP. This also counts towards sold craftable items that you didn't craft, like the discounted Brandy.

You can also sell Brandy you already had, and buy it back at the discounted price during a sale making the leveling process a lot faster.

Trade Posts

I don't recommend fast traveling in trade posts. They are great for stashing unneeded items, but they will tax you for traveling with trade goods. So don't fast travel with trade goods.
