A whaler in their early-life, this early to mid rounder finds draining the life from even the largest of prey to be second nature. Begin by applying Bleeding to as many enemies as possible with Piercing Throw, then allow Bleeding Oil to do its wicked work. Every individual hit from the Legion Guisarme can activate Bleeding Oil's effect, as can Fervent Support and Riposte from Preparedness.

This early to mid round damage dealer doesn't require a spear at all to apply significant pressure on the battlefield. With a little "theater of the mind" Piercing Throw isn't all that different from a shot out of a flintlock pistol. Combine its Bleeding status with Incendiary Flask's Burning or Poisonous Flask's Poison and they'll deal 35-40% HP damage to as many targets as they can hit every single round. Last Push lets them make the most out of friendly fire, turning Burning's spreading and Gas Clouds into extra damage to push your troops over the edge.

The more support oriented sibling to the Grenadier, this early round unit will gladly blow a hole in enemy defenses for your troops to exploit. Sweet Spot means every unit hit with bombs will suffer Destabilisation, and along with Rallying Cry means your AoE damage dealers can go in with a devastating first hit. Preparedness's Fury means after the first round every bomb will be dealing a minimum of 15% max HP, and with Critical Hits loads more thanks to Bleeding.

The highly flexible unit can be the answer for virtually any situation. Rallying Cry and Team Spirit makes this unit an island for your Archers to anchor themselves to. Likewise, opting for Fervent Support instead makes them a perfect Second-Line to support your tanks. Having a crafted Spear as your Second Weapon means you can break up unfavorable Engagements or utilized to set-up additional VP generation with another unit's Valorous Duel. This unit is all about organizing the battlefield as you see fit.

This early rounder is the line in the sand that will not be crossed, functioning as a Front-Liner while still keeping enemies at arms length. Team Spirit and Harnessing Strength boost their damage, while Alacrity can keep them safe from arrows and cleaves.
