■ Fix the game running at abnormally high speeds: Cap the game to 60FPS with SpecialK (Info in the video above, or you can use other methods like your GPU control panel, RivaTuner, etc though SpecialK is absolutely RECOMMENDED)

■ Game crashing on startup: Changing your Steam name to non-special fonts should solve the problem. Found the info here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1113560/discussions/0/3132792921898536986/

■ Fix low frame rate/stuttering when using a controller: Right-click the game in your library -> select "Properties" -> navigate to "Controller" -> and change the override setting to "Disable Steam Input".

■ Hide mouse cursor when using a controller: Install Special K (see "Cap the frame rate/potentially improve frame times [2]" above), bring up the in-game overlay (CTRL-Shift-Backspace), navigate to Input Management -> Mouse Cursor, and tick "Hide when not moved".

■ Fix abnormal frame rate caps on high refresh rate monitors: Enable vsync.

■ Fix inconsistent controller support: Disable support for that controller in: Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings

New & Extra Fixes In Case None Of This Worked

■ I forgot to mention that disabling Steam Input (Right-click the game in your library -> select "Properties" -> navigate to "Controller" -> and change the override setting to "Disable Steam Input") should fix low frame rate/stuttering when using a controller.

■ To fix abnormal frame rate caps on high refresh rate monitors you need to make sure that Vsync is Enabled.

■ Use High Performance Power profile in your Windows Power Settings and set Maximum Performance power setting in your nVIDIA Driver. It really helps. Also try to disable VSync for the game through the control panel of your graphics card, test it, and see if it helps, otherwise leave it enabled.

■ Another thing that is happening to many is that the game is defaulting to their integrated graphics card. You wanna make sure that it's set to your DEDICATED graphics card in both graphics card panel and Windows settings.

■ Some users were saying it was their antivirus causing the game not to start. Try adding the game's folder to the exception list.

■ As a last resort, if everything fails... make sure you don't have pending updates for Windows 10 in the background, update your graphics card drivers, restart your PC and or try reinstalling the game.

■ Something else some people found out works, even if it's a bit random and very weird:

1. Load game, load your save file

2. Go to your main menu, load your save file again (Repeat the process until you notice better performance)
