About JF-17
JF-17 is a joint Chinese-Pakistani effort to create a low-cost, light-weight, single-engine, modern multi-role fighter. The wording “low-cost” should not be read as “cheap.” It has a lot of fancy features and capabilities, but it is focused on what is deemed critical to have, and on what needs to work well, rather than taking a bloated kitchen-sink approach. JF-17 Thounder Cockpit Overview
JF-17 Quick Startup
Before Startup in the cockpit, You need to press "\" > Ground Crew... > Configuration Panel > Uncheck AAR Probe (If you will not do air refueling) and Inlet Cover and Ladder.
1. Battery Switch to BATT.
2. Main AC Gen Switch to AC GEN.
3. DC Gen Switch to DC GEN.
4. Turn on AAP Train (For other Avionics you need to turn on AAP CMBT). If you carrying a POD such as WMD7, You need to turn on AAP OESP.
5. Intercom Switch to INT COM, Then raise the Volume knobs (6, 7, 8, and 9) to the proper level.
6. COM1 Volume (Radio)
7. COM2 Volume (Radio)
8. TCN/ILS Volume (TACAN/Instrument Landing System)
9. MSL Volume (Missle)
10. Close the Canopy with the handle. You need to click left two times on the handle to set the canopy mark to 'Canopy Close mark'. After 4-5 seconds, you can seal it with a final click. If you want to update the DTC data, open the canopy.
11. Remove the Eject Seat Firing Handle Safety Pin.
12. Click on Eject Seat Safe/Arm Handle.
13. Fuel Pump Switch On.
14. Engine Control Switch On.
15. Throttle Uncage Stop to Idle.
16. Hold the Ground Start Button for 5 seconds.
Engine Performance Indicator which shows Engine RPM, Exhaust gas temperature, and fuel quantity. after holding Ground Start until 5 seconds, the Engine RPM will increase.
17. Brake Park Switch to Norm (For taxi).
18. Connect the Oxygen Tube Connector.
19. Connect the G-Suite Connector.
20. Turn on the Radio by right-clicking on it.
21. Rotate the Oxygen Supply Valve to the Right.
22. SHARS Switch On.
23. Emergency Hydraulic Pump Switch On.
