Things To Note
Version
For this to work and to enable trial modules you will need to have the non Steam version of DCS World. if you do use steam this will not work. If you have already bought modules for steam they should be carried over to the non Steam version if you are using the same account.
Google authentication app
You will also need the google authenticator app to confirm the trial.
Not working?
When I first tried using the trial versions it did not work and said that it was not authorised. A way to fix this is that if you get an error 500 message before your game launches you can reset your time in the computer settings. This usualy works for me.
How To Get The Modules
Now that you have acknowledged the notes you are ready to install the trial modules.
First you will need to go to the Eagle Dynamics DCS website and click the profile button in the top right once signed in.
From your profile page you will see a licensing drop down. You will then click the drop down and press on "Trail licenses."
you will then be sent to a page where you are able to try out any module. Once you found the module you would like to try press the try button next to it.
If this your first try it should give a QR code that you can scan with the google authenticator app. Once that is down a new code will pop up on the app, add the code and a 14 or 13 day trial begins.
When you launch the game you should automatically install the module and restart. Then you can have fun with your new modules.
