Early Gameplay
Please note! Achievements don't start counting toward your progress ingame or otherwise until you've completed the tutorial. Both ingame goals and steam achievements alike will ignore any unlock triggers until the tutorial is finished.
These achievements are earned by simply playing your first few minutes of a new save and will probably be earned by accident by the time you have a few dogs already.
Quick Learner
Simple as it comes! Just complete the tutorial.
Reward: An adult default type dog named Randy.
Don't Slip
Clean up a puddle. For this one, I recommend you don't clean up the puddles from when your dog pupates until after the tutorial is over.
Reward: Ground Ivy seed.
Gross
Clean up some poop. Similar to the last one, I recommend you don't clean up any poop your dog drops until after the tutorial is over. Keep it away from the dog so they don't eat it.
Reward: Unlocks Chicken Nugget food, available from the Classic Food Dispenser.
That's The Stuff
Pet a dog. Either press shift to temporarily swap to a petting hand, or click the pet button on the top left. Then click on your dog and wiggle the mouse to pet it. Once you stop petting, the achievement will pop.
Reward: Foam Ham toy.
Getting Busy
Dig a hole. Simply click on one of your dogs, click on a spot nearby and tell it to dig. As soon as the hole is successfully dug, the achievement will pop.
Reward: Weed Mix seed.
Pop!
Open a capsule. Capsules are these little round plastic ball containers similar to what you might find in one of those cheap little gum dispensers in an arcade. When opened, they give you a random unlock such as a wallpaper, flooring, wall or object. They can be laid randomly by adult dogs, or digging them up. If you're lucky, you'll get one on your first couple of digs, or maybe one of your adults will lay one. If you're having a hard time getting a capsule, just focus on another achievement instead and one will pop up eventually.
Reward: Blue Blanket Flowers seed.
Safe Keeping
Bury an object. This can be any object your dog can carry in their mouth. Have your dog dig a hole (or use one that's already been dug), get your dog to pick something up and click the hole to command them to bury it.
Reward: Pink Daisy Flowers seed.
Getting Into It
Play for an hour. Simple! You can even leave the game open and AFK this one. I believe it works even on the esc/pause menu or any of the other menus and will trigger after said menu is closed.
Reward: Spacelab Food Dispenser.
New Baby
Hatch an egg. If you wanna be extra efficient, start the egg incubating right away after the tutorial is over.
Reward: Golden Lupine Flowers seed.
All Grown Up
Grow a dog from pup to adult. All you gotta do to get this one is pupate/mutate your puppy until it reaches the adult growth stage. It takes a bit but is easy and you don't have to do much other than wait and ensure the dog doesn't starve.
Reward: New Room.
Small Beginnings
Plant a seed. You can either plant a seed in a hole your dog(s) made or go to the object placing menu, select the shovel icon, and plant a seed directly, where ever you want!
Reward: Outdoor Flooring.
Negative Reinforcement
Scold your dog for any behavior until it has 4 red pips for that behavior. To speed this up, you can use any of the commands you have for your dog. i.e: Sit, speak, roll over, etc.
Reward: A strange, sad looking adult dog named Mud.
Positive Reinforcement
Praise your dog for any behavior until it has 4 green pips for that behavior. Just like the achievement of a similar name, you can use sit, speak, roll over, etc to make this easier.
Reward: A strange, hyper looking adult dog named Proto.
Mail Time
You can do this one at any time as long as you have a dog! Go to the doghouse screen and select any of your dogs. Click export and copy. Then click import, paste and import once again. Now you have a clone of one of your pooches and a shiny new achievement.
Reward: Storage Chest.
Um...
Eat some poop. Have one of your dogs eat some poop.
Reward: Pizza Bagel, available from the Suburban Food Dispenser.
Egg Novice
Collect an egg. Just like capsules and poop, this cannot be controlled and eggs are laid randomly by adult dogs. If you haven't gotten an egg yet, try the method of raising a bunch of adults and then waiting for one of them to lay an egg. (I also recommend turning off dog death in the gameplay settings if you go with this method.)
Reward: Cloud Wallpaper.
Matchmaker
Breed a pair of dogs for the first time. Easy, and self explanatory.
Reward: An unfertilized Dog Egg.
Numbered Achievements
These achievements are earned by doing something repeatedly. i.e: digging holes. Some of these are a little grindy but not too hard to get once you get the hang of it.
Down To Earth
Dig 10 holes. Get your dogs to dig over and over, and you'll have this one in no time.
Reward: New Room.
Excavator
Dig 50 holes. Just like the last one, just keep having your dogs dig until this achievement pops. You can get a bunch of puppies and encourage them every time they dig to try and make this go faster.
Reward: 10 Basic Tree seeds.
Dirt Eater
Self explanitory. Have your dog(s) eat 10 dirt clumps. Dirt clumps are obtained by digging.
Reward: Mud Floor.
Egg Hobbyist
Collect 10 eggs. For this, I'd recommend getting a bunch of adult dogs, and turning off dog deaths (temporarily if you want.) Then after a little while, your dogs should be laying plenty of eggs.
Reward: Suburban Food Dispenser.
Egg Maniac
Collect 50 eggs. Shouldn't be too hard if you have a few adult dogs. Encourage them any time you notice one lay an egg, though it'll take a while to get 4 positive egg laying pips on any individual.
Reward: A fluffy looking Wobbledog puppy named Granule.
Green Thumb
Plant 10 seeds. Just plant seeds when you get them and you'll have this in no time at all.
Reward: Flower Wallpaper.
So Many Plants
Plant 20 seeds. If you get your Excavator achievement before this one, it'll be a big help. Plant a few or all of the trees you got from that achievement and either you'll pop this one or be a LOT closer than you were before.
Reward: New Room.
More Babies
Hatch 10 eggs. I'd recommend building more than one incubator if you want to make this go faster (be sure to shrink the incubators to save space), then incubate a bunch of default type doggos.
Reward: Deviled Egg, available from the Spooky Food Dispenser.
So Many Babies
Hatch 50 eggs. Use the same method of a BUNCH of incubators and incubate as many eggs as you can. You'll have to put a bunch of the newly hatched pups in storage to make way for the next batch, though!
Reward: New Room.
Fabulous Prizes
Open 10 capsules. Ironically, my egg collecting method of a large group of adults works better for getting capsules than eggs, because they're much more common for dogs to lay than eggs are. Don't forget that you can also dig them up to help with making this go a bit faster!
Reward: Arcade Floor.
Keepin' It Clean
Clean up 10 puddles. After hatching out so many puppies to get your So Many Babies achievement, you'll have no shortage of dogs to pupate! That'll help a lot with this one.
Reward: Robotic Vacuum toy.
Dry As A Bone
Clean up 100 puddles. This one will take a while but you might be able to speed this along by hatching and pupating a bunch of pups.
Reward: New Room.
Taking Care Of Business
Clean up 10 poops. Easy but not something you can control. Focus on other achievements while you work on this one and always try to get the poop cleaned up quickly so your dogs don't eat it.
Reward: Ham Slider, available in the Classic Food Dispenser.
Someone's Gotta Do It
Clean up 100 poops. As you can imagine, this can take a bit. Just clean up every poop you can get to before your dogs, and this one will eventually pop up.
Reward: 10 Toilet Paper Rolls.
Love Machine
Breed dogs 10 separate times. You'll need 10 eggs for this but otherwise it's pretty easy.
Reward: Simulated Wall.
Time Well Spent
Play for 5 hours. Make sure you're not in a menu after playing 5 hours on your save, and this will trigger.
Reward: New room.
A Long Day's Work
Play for 10 hours. Once again an AFKable achievement. Once your save has 10 hours on it and you close any menu you were in, this achievement will pop.
Reward: Apple Slice, available from the Suburban Food Dispenser.
Misc Achievements
These achievements didn't fit in the other categories so they're a bit of a mixed bunch.
Massive Litter
Get a massive litter in the breeding simulation. Not sure how many dogs it takes for this but the chances of it are randomized so just keep crossbreeding dogs until it happens and retry the simulation altogether if it doesn't happen on your first try.
Reward: Industrial Fan toy.
Tiny Litter
Get a tiny litter in the breeding simulation. Just like the massive litter, chances of this are random, although tiny litters seem to be much rarer because it consists of just one dog, making continued crossbreeding utterly impossible.
Reward: An Unfertilized Dog Egg.
Sickening
Throw up. You can't really cause this either, but it seems to happen when a dog eats too much, I believe. Keep feeding a dog until it happens.
Reward: Garlic Bulb, available from the Spooky Food Dispenser.
Seriously Unstable
Crossbreed dogs at 0% simulation stability. Easy peasy, just run the breeding simulation and keep crossbreeding dogs until stability reaches 0%, and crossbreed once again. (Also cross your fingers you don't get a tiny litter or you'll have to start over, haha.)
Reward: Simulated Floor.
Cramped
Have 10 dogs in the world at the same time. 10 is the maximum number of dogs you can have out and about. So just keep hatching new default doggos until this pops.
Reward: New Room.
Oh No
Pet a dog that doesn't like being petted. Personalities are pretty randomized so it may take you a minute to find a dog that hates petting, or maybe not! Check the dog's traits by clicking on them and looking at the icons at the bottom of their portrait in the bottom left. The icon is a hand with an X.
Reward: Inflatable Dog toy.
Out Of This World
Decorate a room with space themed decor. This works with the Hex Floor and the Tech Wall v3, and probably others that have a sci-fi look.
Reward: Gravity Machine.
Mutation Achievements
For these achievements, you'll need to do a bit of breeding and selective feeding. I highly recommend building a setup where you can keep your pup(s) away from unwanted foods and other dogs, so the likelihood of them getting unwanted gut flora and mutations is lessened.
Spindly
Hatch or mutate a dog with very long legs. Breed dogs with long legs, or use only Bananas to feed a puppy. (Jungle Food Dispenser.) Don't worry too much about other mutations. As long as they don't effect the legs.
Reward: Wooden Carpet.
What's This?
Hatch or mutate a dog with a tail. Can either be bred for randomly or mutated. Probably one of the easiest mutations to get because you don't have to worry about size. Any tail will do.
Reward: Vine Wallpaper.
Peabrained
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very small head. Can be bred for, or you can use Raisins (Spooky Food Dispenser) to mutate a puppy.
Reward: Jukebox toy.
Big
Hatch or mutate a very large dog. You can breed selectively for this or feed a puppy Lasagna. (Suburban Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Pumpkin Pie, available from the Spooky Food Dispenser.
Small
Hatch or mutate a very small dog. You can breed for this, or feed a puppy Chicken Nuggets. (Classic Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Strange Plush toy.
Flat
Hatch or mutate a flattened dog. Breed for this or feed a puppy Pancakes. (Suburban Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Lunar Pie, available from the Spacelab Food Dispenser.
Extruded
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very tall body. This one will be tricky because I haven't found the right flora for it yet. Will update when I know more.
Reward: New Room.
Short
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very short body. Breed for it or feed a puppy gourd. (Spooky Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Corndog, available from the Classic Food Dispenser.
Long
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very long body. Breed for this or feed a puppy French Fries. (Classic Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Caterpillar Statue.
Wide
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very wide body. Breed for it or feed a puppy Pancakes. (Suburban Food Dispenser.)
Reward: Dessert Food Dispenser
Bigheaded
Hatch or mutate a dog with a very big head. This one will be tricky because I haven't found the right flora for it yet. Will update when I know more.
Reward: Phonograph.
A Bit More Wobbly
Hatch or mutate a dog missing only its front left leg. This one seems like it might be tricky as I'm not aware of a flora that removes legs just yet. Will update with more information later.
Reward: Noble Dog Statue.
Secret/Hidden Achievements
Spoilers ahead! Here I'll be listing all of the "??????" achievements as I discover them. Skip this section entirely if you want to unlock these for yourself!
Made With Love
This one is super easy. Just pet a cocoon with a dog inside until the heart meter fills up. This will make it so your dog's mutations are up for that pupating cycle.
Reward: Doggy Bopper toy.
Good Dirt Living
Construct a den from dirt. First to even start this one, you have to wait for your dogs to make a build zone, which they should do pretty quickly. Check in the object placing menu for a big, unmovable orange square, and that'll be where your dogs will build the den. Once the den is built, you can move it around for your convenience. After the zone has been turned into a big dirt patch, you can speed along its construction by having your dogs dig and dragging the dirt clumps they dig up to the den construction zone. It takes 20 dirt clumps before a dog will come to finish building the den.
Reward: Jungle Food Dispenser.
Spacious
"Fully" upgrade a den's interior. You can't really control this one, dogs will do it on their own and you can't tell them to do it, unfortunately. While the ingame description on this one says "fully" upgrade the den's interior, what it really means is that the dogs have to complete one upgrade/room. They can dig out three separate "rooms" in the den. Fortunately, dogs should do this pretty soon after the den has been built, so you can focus on other achievements while you wait for this to pop.
Reward: Dog Stack toy.
Remodel
ACTUALLY upgrade the den for this one. You can get den upgrades from digging them up. Once you have one, you can click on the den and apply the upgrade, which is basically just a cosmetic change, by my understanding. It doesn't actually improve/change the interior or functionality at all.
Reward: Dog Biscuit, available from the Dessert Food Dispenser.
Tragedy
Have a dog die of old age. Dogs will die once they've reached the end of their lifespan. Your tutorial dog will likely be the one to do this first, unless you put them in storage. (Unsure if a dog dying by starvation triggers this achievement or not, need to test it.)
Reward: Doggivision Jr toy.
I'll Always Remember You
Memorialize a dead dog. To do this, click the core you can get from destroying (or having your dogs eat) their body and click memorialize. Just the body, not the legs/head/tail.
Reward:
Crrrrack!
Break open a dog core! Rather than destroying/storing/memorializing a dog core, you can also crack it open, which causes it to become edible for your surviving dogs.
Reward: Rock Speaker toy.
Ancient
Have one of your dogs become old enough to reach ancient. A dog can become an ancient if it passes the age threshold that would've caused it to die otherwise. You can do this by feeding a dog a cracked dog core. Ancients can still die if they aren't fed cores regularly to extend their lifespan.
Reward: Burnt Dog Biscuit. Available from the (Insert once I find this out) Food Dispenser
Scary!
Have a ghost dog spawn! Ghost dogs will appear randomly if you have a memorial in your world. After a ghost dog has appeared, you can summon them at any time.
Reward: The ability to "Call Forth" a ghost from their memorial.
Recycling
Something to do with feeding a ghost. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Mochi Ball, available from the Dessert Food Dispenser.
Worm
If I had to guess, this one probably has something to do with a dog with no legs. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Pizza Tube, available from the Spacelab Food Dispenser.
Extra Help
I think this one has to do with growing a dog with no legs to adult. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Ants On A Log, available from the Jungle Food Dispenser.
More Of Them!
I think this one has something to do with a dog with multiple tails. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Alien Wall.
Two Faced
Self explanatory. Hatch a dog with two heads. This mutation is random and there doesn't seem to be a flora that causes it, so mix and match your dogs until you find a two-head in the simulation. Don't be afraid of simulation stability while looking for this one.
Reward: Fortune Cookie, available from the Dessert Food Dispenser.
Take To The Skies!
If I had to guess, this one has something to do with wings. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Doggy Launcher.
One Winged Angel
Probably has something to do with a dog with one wing. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: CD Player
Leggy
Probably has something to do with a dog with multiple legs. (Will edit this with more information once I figure it out)
Reward: Honeycomb, available from the Jungle Food Dispenser.
Gut Flora Achievements
These last two achievements are relating to gut flora stuff. Which is kind of a spoiler, but if you're having trouble with figuring out which ones are where and filling in those last pesky bits of info, hopefully this will help. I created a Google Doc to help this section be more organized since all the different Gut Flora could have their whole own guide, which I am most certainly not going to be writing on Steam. Haha.
Researcher
Discover 10 different types of gut flora. Simple, just feed your dogs as many kinds of food as you can and you'll get this one pretty quick!
Reward: Road Carpet.
Meticulous
Discover every gut flora. This will take a while. Good luck with it, there's another guide here on steam that can help you and you'll also be able to use my Google Doc if you like.
Reward: New Room.
Gut Expert
Complete your gut flora guide. Just like the previous guide, this can take a while. You'll need to find every flora that occurs in every food and essentially "fill in" the information on every flora's entry in your flora guide.
Reward: A big yellow, 6 eyed Wobbledog named Superior.
Here is the helpful gut flora guide on Steam, credit to Skuddle: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2832343518
And here is my Google Doc Gut Flora Guide: (still a work in progress as well, thank you for your patience.)

Closing Words/Thank Yous
Thank you very much for reading my guide! I did my best to make it as helpful and tidy as possible. Any and all polite and constructive comments are appreciated, I will be keeping a close eye on them. Good luck with your achievement hunting and doggo breeding!
Thank you to the amazing devs at Animal Uprising and the game publishers at Secret Mode for giving us this quirky and fun little floppy dog game. It's been fun figuring out how to play it.
