this disease comes from dogs that are either young and were born with the disease, or dogs that have eaten the said core from this said diseased dog. there is a cure for this disease.

start of infection

the dog will behave normally, apart from slightly more frequent vomiting, slightly more frequent choking, and slightly less physical activity. their vomit will be slightly pinker than normal, and their pupils will be slightly bumpy, almost unnoticeable. can be cured.

stage 1

vomit changes to an orange colour and is more frequent. their pupil will be obviously misshapen and they will have little to no mutations during pupation. the dogs legs will also be noticeably more shaky. can be cured during this stage.

stage 2

vomit becomes more frequent, and bumps appear all over the body. they become stronger and slightly quicker than normal. they are also constantly trying to eat but are very tired and have trouble moving. can be cured at this stage.

stage 3

bumps will become orange spikes, known as centre knives. the dog's pupil will disappear and will always be vomiting core fluid. they will attempt to bite other dogs constantly and will always be looking for food. they are extremely aggressive and c̶o̶n̶t̶a̶g̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ dangerous.

DO NOT APPROACH A DOG LIKE THIS. THEY ARE UNCURABLE(?)

stage 4

giant arm-like things grow and the core liquid starts to take over the entire body. they have an insatiable appetite and will eat anything that moves. the spikes will grow larger and be a way to spread the disease and act as a defence mechanism. they are extremely fast and attack anything. they have no memories of past life and live to kill.

run if you see it and dont look back.

stage 5 "gargoyle"

these things cant even be considered a dog anymore and are too far gone to be cured. their eyes will be temporarily gone and they will thankfully have a lessened appetite and aggression. they are less contagious and are rarely seen, as they quickly mutate into stage 6. they are also starting to regain thoughts and mind, but they are completely different than their past life. what was once a dog's ears become horns. DO NOT ENGAGE.

stage 6 "core beast"

despite having no memory of their previous life*, they have a similair personality to it. they also seem to have a normal yet-still-big appetite, but are still contagious (they will lose this property later in life). they see wobbledogs as prey now, being a larger beast. they can also be slightly recognisable, having same features as their previous lives. they have gotten much smarter and can have mutations.

*if an adult dog catches this disease they will quickly move to this stage and have a chance to remember their life as a dog.
