Tank Classification (for fun)

How This Works-

So this is how it's going to work in order:

First- [insert letter] (for the class of the vehicle)

[insert a dash]

Second- [insert operation] (what it's purpose/mission is)

[space]

Third- [insert name] (name of the model, EX; Avenger)

[insert a dash]

Fourth- [the series] (use model/MK. EX; MK2/Model 3)

An example could be:

LT-S Vanguard-MK7;

This would be a light tank, whose purpose is scouting. It's name is the Vanguard and is the 7th iteration of the Vanguard class.

Class Of Vehicle-

This is the class of the vehicle:

Tanks:

- LT- Light Tank

- MT- Medium Tank

- HT- Heavy Tank

- TD- Tank Destroyer

- MBT- Main Battle Tank

- UT- Ultra Heavy Tank

Support:

- SPG- Self Propelled Gun

- TT- Troop Tansport

- AA- Anti air

- LGCL- Logistical (Supply)

Misc:

- AV- Armored Vehicle

- AMV- Amphibious Vehicle

Purpose/Mission-

This is the purpose or mission of the vehicle:

A- Assault

B- Bombardment

D- Destroyer

S- Scout

T- Troop

X- Experimental

ART- Artillery

P- Patrol

L- Logistical

ST- Supply Transport

Name Of Vehicle-

Here's a few names that I came up with quickly:

- BTW you can name the design anything you want, these are just some quick examples I came up with.

- Avenger

- Accuser

- Bombarder

- Deception

- Vanguard

- Ultimatum

- Transporter

- Obliterator

- Annihilator

- Longbow

Series Of Vehicle-

I really only know of three different types of ways to show this:

MK (MK 1, MK 3, MK11, etc)

Model (Model 1, Model 7, etc)

Roman Numerals (I, II, IV, XI, etc)

You could mix some of these up like this;

MK-IX or Model III

Example-

Here's how it would work:

Heavy Tank whose mission is assault, named the Renegade, which has had 12 iterations. This would come off as;

HT-A Renegade-MK12

Light Tank whose mission is scouting, named the Pacifist, which has had 3 different models. This would come off as;

LT-S Pacifist-Model 3

Ultra Heavy tank whose mission is assault, named the Goliath, which had 7 iterations. This would come off as;

UT-A Goliath-MK7

You get the point of how to do the naming order.

Conclusion-

Hope you enjoyed this simple guide to help possibly classify some of your designs on Sprocket.
