Making The Base
Choose between generated hull and freeform ones. Make the base whatever you want, dont forget to make the tracks far away from the hull use the track separation tool , and also turn of the auto generate fenders, for easy access! After making the hull, remember to make the lower part flat, leave the top side. Dont forget to name your tank! For this time, imma make my Object 555 E
Next Step... Make The Beams
Hurray... you made to the next step!!
Make the bottom part flat... really flat.... select one of the edges on the tip of the hull. Press J 2 times. It'll do that... after that, extrude the faces that's close to the middle, extrude em down!
Dont extrude too long... leave it a bit short, then extrude some more... around a chunk... that will make a face on the beam.
After that... make the beam sloped. It'll prevent the hull from hitting the ground.
Tracks Configuration
Yep.... its the fun part
Replace the tracks to the regular position, also make the width of tracks max. Wait! i forgot! select the sloped part of the hull... extrude it until it pops out of the track. Place the tracks, make sure the popped out part is on the middle of the tracks! As shown on the picture
Hol' up... you see that? That doesn't look like quad tracks! Yeah... you forgot to make the 'beams' long enough... make it until it pops out from the tracks.
Fixed!
After that, make the shape of the tracks whatever you want! Just remember to make the beam stick out of the tracks. JUST GO NUTS
Change the roadwheels...sprocket..etc.
