a tank with good armor for its size but lacking a good firepower

it house the french 47mm mlle 1937 gun with around 50mm effective penetration

Somua S.35

the french meduim tank

has good armor for its time size and weight

as the H39 it lack from firepower

only housing a slight better version of the 47mm found on the H39

ARL 35

what if arl made a competitor to the somua ?

it make this , the ARL 35

a tank worst in all aspect but the firepower , housing a longer 47mm

the overall armor is around 40mm everywhere , making it worse than its counter part

mobility is somehow same even though its lighter
