Why Is It Broken?
Let's talk about the reactor booster.
The reason reactor boosters don't work is a very minor mistake in the way the parts are handled.
All parts reference a base part. In vanilla, this basepart does not list a subtype.
In Fight For Universe(FFU), this base part DOES have a subtype.
The file for the booster part does not list this subtype though.
So the reactor booster does nothing as it is attempting to apply its effect to something that doesn't exist.
By simply adding the subtype to the part file, the issue is resolved.
At the end of this guide you will find a link to the corrected file.

I do not have a tech-complete save.
I HAVE ONLY TESTED THE REACTOR BOOSTER, AND ONLY FOR A BRIEF TIME.
I cannot confirm that the other booster parts work correctly, if at all.
According to what I have looked through, five out of ten of the boosters are not working correctly, if at all.
I can only assume that they suffer from the same issue the reactor booster does.
I have looked into each vanilla basepart file and compared it to the modded basepart files for this same mistake and adjusted the booster part file accordingly. I am assuming that anything that already lists a subtype in the booster file is working correctly, and anything that doesn't is broken(5/10 of them don't list anything).
This means that I have fixed the:
Reactor Booster(Gluon Scalar Capacitors)
Engine Booster(Fuel Compensation Pumps)
Crew Suicide Shuttle Booster(Specialized Equipment Armory)
Cargo Booster(Nanometric Compression Chamber)
Crew Booster(Elite Crew Barracks)
BE SURE TO CHECK THE MOD VERSION
Note that I have only done this on version 0.93.4. If you are having issues with boosters in previous versions of the mod, the issue is probably the same as this. Go into the files and make the corrections yourself.
DO NOT USE THIS FILE FOR ANY OTHER VERSION BUT THAT ONE. If you do, you can expect things to majorly break, BUT THE FIX SHOULD BE THE SAME, SO DO IT YOURSELF.
If someone informs me that something I changed is broken or was working just fine before, I will hope that I step back up and fix it. I can't promise I'll always be around, but if I'm not then I probably died.
In the event that I fully test every booster, I will update this guide saying so.
Update: Well, I think I've tested every one of them except that suicide shuttle booster. It probably works too, let's be real.

TL;DR: Download this file[drive.google.com] , go to the mod's install directory:
Space Pirates and Zombies\mods\FightForUniverse_TrueOrigin\gameScripts\datablocks\weapons and drop it in there. When prompted to, replace the previous with this one.
DONE, enjoy the greatest SPAZ mod ever!
