0 - Getting Started
Make sure you do this before attempting to install any mods.
You will need HedgeModManager, this is a program that allows you to select and configure Sonic Frontiers mods.

To install, go to https://gamebanana.com/tools/6311 and extract it into your SF directory (usually in Steam\steamapps\common\SonicFrontiers).
Boot the .exe file and it will install everything needed for modding, including a mods folder.
Windows may say that the file is dangerous, I know this sounds suspicious but it is Windows Antivirus having a seizure, the program is safe.
Now you can install mods.
1 - Graphics Mods/Performance
HD Sonic and Amy - Spoon
These mods improve heavily on the textures and poly count of Sonic and Amys models, and there could be more to come, for other characters!
(WARNING! You need 4GB or more VRAM to run it optimally)

Cinematic LUTs - Spoon
This mod edits the LUTs/lighting to give the game a nicer look.

Low End Foliage - WaferKat
For people with low end PCs who still want to run the game well, this mod simplifies and removes some foliage for better performance.

Switch Conversion - NnandoAnimando
This converts the PC graphics to the same as the Nintendo Switch to maximise performance.
Improved Graphics via Reshade
This is a separate tutorial on how you can edit the graphics to your preference via Reshade. There are also plenty of preset options on GameBanana which you may like.

LOD Edits
These mods remove or change the LODs (Level Of Detail) to make the game models look nicer from further away

Customizable Unleashed Pack - TCM-PIN
A mod that changes Sonic's model to the one found in unleashed, as well as animations and sound effects. Though you can edit what is changed, and add chips bracelet.

Simple mod, only changes Sonic's model.

Sonic Lightspeed Outfit - Strike11037
Gives Sonic his Lightspeed shoes and bracelet, from SA1, you can also add some model changes to make him closer to his Adventure appearance.

3 - Gameplay Changes
Some people don't like how Sonic Frontiers controls, or do not like the lack of momentum, mods here will edit physics, combat ect. to be better than the base game.
