The Logical Guide to Conquering Ready or Not

Loud Or Quiet?

DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO BE LOUD, OR QUIET

I say that with some frustration, as the AI reacts differently. You'll see little kids toting suppressors on guns that shoot bullets faster than the speed of sound, meaning there is a sonic boom.

My go to Quiet load-out I choose the ARN, because it fires .300 blackout, the only subsonic AR ammunition in the game. Suppressed, vertical grip, any sight except the last, heavier one and a laser sight. I highly suggest finding "canted sight" in settings, and learning to point shoot.

Armour is up to you, but I'd always take heavy armour, steel plates, front back and sides. For any given scenario. Top speed will be the same, all that changes is acceleration. With that being said, you'll always want to be shot less rather than run like a gazelle. You won't outrun a bullet, Mark Foster.

My go to Loud load-out I choose the G36C because of the low recoil, and fast reload. It's chambered in 5.56, which is supersonic. Pair it with an SFMB, Vertical grip, sight of choice and flashlight. It's like firing a straight line, very reliable. Though, your gun shouldn't really ever come off of single fire.

NVG Or Flashlight?

God ♥♥♥♥ please don't run both, it pains me every time I see it

When to run NVG Never

Sorry Sam Fisher nerds, it's a fantasy in this game. Any meth-head you're exchanging shots with will have $3 flashlight from Walmart that will cripple your NVG's any bar mitzvah of the week.

WAAWAWAWAWAAAAWAAAAWAAAAAAA I'm a toddler and I'm scared of the dark Don't be a coward, if you can't see them, they cannot see you.

Run flashlights on guns that are not suppressed. The game will set up pitfalls for you to learn from, like the mp5 having and integrated flashlight, but no option for a laser sight. (Yes, the mp5a3 has side rails)

Okay, I grew up and I started using the flashlight to see in the dark Don't use the flashlight

This is also a waste of a slot. Use the laser sight The laser isn't a literal beacon of light shining into a room before you enter that says "Hey, by the way i'm coming into the room from right here, please don't prepare to shoot me in the face as soon as you see a barrel, thanks"

Why Am I Dying?

KNOW WHICH MAPS HAVE TRAPS There are tripwires on doorways in some maps that can be instantaneously lethal.

Always peek a door, it save you from detonating one of these traps by giving you the option to disarm the frag grenade they screwed into the door frame.

Open doors from the side, so when the door is open it is facing you. This allows you to open the door without being exposed to any angles that could present possible threats within the room. (if knob is on right side of door, you open door from the right side. if knob is on left side, you open from the left side)

Think with util, not ammo. Use the mirror gun to see if there are civilians on the other side before using a c2 charge.

HAVE YOUR GUN UP, AND YOUR FINGER DISCIPLINED I see too many idiots die because they're staring at a teammates back instead of looking where someone has not looked yet. It's a team game, and your unit has to be a collective hive-mind with one goal. No splitting, no cutting, just following the flow of the lead.

♥♥♥♥ whatever they look like, look at their hands.

No weapons, you cannot shoot.

They have a weapon they're not aiming at you on barricade suspects, cannot shoot.

They refuse to drop said weapon, you can shoot.

If it's raid, you can kill anyone that is not a civilian on sight.
