The Slaver's Guide to Slavery

Where To Start

The starting point does not really matter, but, what does matter is getting a maul, sledgehammer, etc. These aforementioned weapons are devastating and cheap, and one bandit actually sells for 50 denars. But, anyway, you should start in Swadia, as the forest bandits are easy pickings, just sitting there, waiting to be harvested. Take the merchant quest: easy denars, 5-10 prisoners off the bat. You should also search for the city that a slaver is in, or find ransom brokers. They both take prisoners, but the slaver buys them for more. The bandits are easy to find, numerous, and weak. But, whatever you do, do NOT take on lords right off the bat, or even little into the game until you are high enough level: lords are un-sellable and the troops sell for 50 denars.

What If I Want More Profit?

By this point, you may have 10000 denars or so, some troops, and you may have sided with a faction. So, if you want extra denars, invest in a production plot. Invest in the 10000 denars plot, it produces the most revenue, and 10000 denars is easy to get back as a slaver. You can also start upgrading prisoner management to be able to bring in more prisoners.

Mid-Game Slavery

Now that you are here, you have reached mid-game or are reaching mid-game, so, buy plate armor, try and buy a better weapon, maybe have some sharp pointy objects juuust in case. The enemies you engage should just be bandits, but if you siege castles, taking troop prisoners is perfectly fine as well. Now, you should also get a horse, hire some men, and buy more production plots to generate a constant stream of revenue, because, as a lord, you will need to pay land taxes on castles, towns, etc. and pay your growing army.

End-game Slavery

Now, you may be the max level or somewhere near that, and that's great! You can now invest a lot of points into prisoner management and other things, like leadership and two-handed weapons. This will be important to win over Calradia and its lords, open all the businesses you can, 27 of them to be exact, which will cost, if you buy the business that is the most profitable, 270,000 denars and upkeep.
