Character Creation

Alrighty ladies, let's create a respectable noble a God-forsaken monster. You will be asked a few questions before you even get to create this cannibalistic skin-walker. First off you'd want to pick the gender. This is tricky due to the fact that if you pick male you're automatically above most for historical accuracy. A woman is worthless in this game, but if you'd really like to crank up the badass-o-meter, you be my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guest. I usually go with a male...I like to boast my genitals after a night of pure human mutilation.

Next you're going to pick things that make your physical stats go through the God-forsaken-roof that's holding you down. Don't you ever pick pansy-a** options like "monks" or "musicians." You're going to say your father was a Ji-Samurai, you were a young mountain-child, and you grew into a career as an armed retainer. This will make your physical stats look something to the liking of 10-11 strength, and the rest don't even f***ing matter because you'll be slaughtering innocents. No, but seriously, you'll want to get your strength to at least 11 and the rest you'd dump onto Intelligence because who wouldn't like a few extra skill points?

Alrighty, now on to the skills you'll boast. The very first, the priority, is to jack up your power strike. This will ensure you slice through villagers, and your enemies, like Chef Ramsey through parsley. Afterwards, with your remaining points you'll need to get Wound Treatment as high as possible so you could shrug off a peasant's katana because they're not allowed to cut you. If you've got any other points left over it's always nice to even it out among Trade and Looting. When you go to murder a whole village you want to get nice items and then sell them for a nice 100% profit.

If you're choosing a name don't be a pansy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you pick something that will make Genghis Khan roll over in his grave. I went with Himigato Wuzashi, but you get as nasty as humanly possible. After you've picked a name you're going to shove down people's throats, you get creative and make him look angrier than New York taxi cab. Good job damn it, you made your character!

Here's my own character after 40 in-game days. In all my other saves it took me much longer to get to a buffed state like that.

The Beginning Of The End

Now that you've got yourself a beefed up walking slaughterhouse you'll want to put that to good use. Since you've completely molested the first bandit that attacked you in the tutorial you'll want to go through with the rest of it even though they give you an option not to. This will give you a chance to make some Japanese fruit-salad.

Once you've found the samurai and decimated them you're going to take your small band of coyotes that you've assembled in the tut. and feed on the flesh of the bandits. You'll notice this is almost exactly the same way the Native version starts off.

After you've done that you need to find a huge army, preferably a Great Lord/Great Leader and enlist in their army. If you encounter looters on your way, you best well baptize them in steel. I always hitch with Kyoto, Great Leader Myioshi because they're the biggest faction. Now not only will this provide you with constant income, but you'll also get the chance to dice up much more victims. But wait there's more! You'll receive better armor/weapons right off the bat to make it easier to eat swords and chew arrows. The more unworthy blood-bags you claim the quicker you rank up, and that will show some pretty shiny prizes...

Rising Up, Like The Rising Sun

When you rank up, you'll get better equipment and higher pay. It goes like this from lowest rank to highest (pay/mon): 120, 240, 360, 500 [those numbers aren't exact, it's an estimate due to updates, but it has remained around this average for a while]. Save up your money, I'm talking like until you've got 13,000-15,000. After you've served a while you'll see your butchery is paying off, you'll level up.

Upgrade what you'd like but if you ever have the option, you should always prioritize Wound Treatment and Power Strike. I like to focus on Trade and Looting, though if you're late game then go with Persuasion, Leadership, and Trainer. So now you've got some good money. You're going to ask if you can be relieved of service and they'll obviously say "yes." Now you're a free man with the blood of whole villages staining your blade. Stay in the same faction area that you served in because you'll have a good rep with them [you know, since you wiped out whole generations of people].

Pick a major city and buy out a free-enterprise/business. Always pick one that will generate at least over 400 mon a week. Silk is the most expensive to start up but yields the most money [cost 10,000, generates upwards of 500-600]. Buy that out and if you've got money left over you go into town and buy out some basic armor and the best blade you can afford unless you're already wielding a steel-mondo-dong.

You'll want to gather up a small force, but I prefer solo, and slaughter looters that you find. Don't get ahead of yourself and fight groups lager than 15. If they're Kinai Rebels you should be sure you'll completely sodomize them. If you've got a small force then upgrade them and drift around city-to-city burying unsuspecting looters. They'll know your name, God knows they do. Once you raise enough money [selling loot, pillaging] to buy another business in another city, do it. Once you're earning enough money to sustain a big enough army you should start building up you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pack of flesh-eating werewolves.

Starting A Clan Of Alphas

Alrighty you sexy little slaughter house you. You're ready to start up an army and turn the rest of Japan into a good-ol' fruit salad. Since income is now pouring in per week and you've no doubt made yourself a machine, you should start banding together plenty of troops, some big the rest cheap. If you've upgraded trainer then you're now able to have your men upgrade in a matter of days without doing anything.

Fill up your party with peasants and train them, force them to acquire the taste of enemy blood. I recommend you take your men hunting for looters and have them practice on those useless blood-sacks! If you're really determined to be more hands on then you should hit up a training camp and beat your peasants into an unrecognizable pulp. After you've got a decent army, at least two tiers upgraded, you should scout out a weaker clan. This is tricky. There's a few things to look out for.

How many large cities and castles do they own?

How large is their kings/leader's army?

Where are they located?

Can you molest them accordingly?

Now you're ready to pounce. Attack a castle first and make sure your soldiers are ready. Since you've got Wound Treatment jacked up your soldiers will heal as quick as you. When you take the castle, you need to dump all your troops in it and immediately find more. Since you took the castle, you also own a village and will gain more income from the the village and the castle itself.

Now you can bulk up your army and starve them so when they see meat they'll grow rabid. Before you take time to train better troops it's detrimental to grow your numbers because they no doubt have that over you. Kidnap and recruit as many peasants as humanly possible and dump them into your castle until you've got 300-400 people in it, at least. Now you can take a little time to train some monsters. Cavalry is the best unit and a priority. Their armor and weapons make them blenders on the field and in raids.

Being in the army gave me loot that I sold along with equipment that I also sold to buy my own. My character is a literal monster on the field and my armies can be outnumbered 300 to 200 and I can still manage as long as I get in the action and my soldiers aren't all peasants.

Take your army and capture either another castle or take some time to pillage as many villages as you can to reduce prosperity and cut away their money. You take those poor peasants that can't fight and you burn them, burn them and stick em' on a kebab to feed to your sons and daughters back home. They'll get weaker the more you do this. When you feel you're ready you take another castle. Try picking up a vassal and give some fiefs if possible. Once you're ready you take their main city and defeat them overall.

If you take a prisoner, you keep them and stow them away as far as you can. That's one less leader who can kill you and contribute to the war. If you've done all this successfully you're now a Lord and you should make sure you crush any rebellions, any war-parties, any unruly peasants, and any looters.

Maintain People's Respect/Fear

Now you're the most feared man in all of Japan. If a neighbor goes to war with you, you go and take their land, spill their blood, rape their women. If looters like to drift around your place you find them and butcher them like cattle. If it persists, you find their hideout and raze it, burn the poor excuse for a home to the ground.

You've built up your empire, you're this far, do not screw it up. Don't fight battles you know you can't win. You're most likely always going to be in war so you take advantage of that and don't get bored. Go kill people, murder innocents, tear their world's apart. All the while, you collect taxes and build your army up. If the other army has 300 people, you take a war party and molest them with 1000 cheap peasants. Keep numbers on your side.

Don't sit back in battle. You're like a wolf, always hungry. If you go in and start slaughtering you alone can turn the tide of battle. You're a machine and you cannot let that peasant blood go to waste.

That's it...Everyone fears you now...even God....
