The Problem
Since the new EA App was introduced as a replacement for Origins, Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition achievements stopped working.
The Fix
To fix this problem, you will have to uninstall the EA App and install the old version of Origin that is a bit hard to find. You can download them from the EA servers directly at these adresses.

Thin version: https://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginThinSetup.exe
Not Retroactive
Unfortunately, achievements that you already unlocked in the game prior to the fix will not work. You will have to unlock them again. :(
