You need to know two things about this battle:
Ishmael cannot die
You win the fight by getting BB (Big Brother) to 50% HP OR surviving for a certain amount of turns (10 I think)
The main strategy revolves around redirecting all scary attacks on Ishmael so that Meursault can survive for long enough. Also try to stagger BB with tremor for a free turn.
The first two waves are pretty easy, just redirect and farm some sanity.
For the first round of wave 3 I saved up some Meursault S3 so I could start stacking tremor ASAP.
You will win like so: 3 waves of small attacks -> idle -> 1 big -> stagger (abuse the Test of Big Brother debuff) -> 1 big -> idle -> 1 big -> win
Tips
You only need to level up Meursault (preferably lvl40). I also had uptie 4 for some extra tremor stacks on S3 (maybe not necessary but useful). Ishmael was like lvl17, no problem.
Don't forget about evade(just clash with it with a defensive skill) and counter(Ishmael has to one sided attack BB before Meursault).
