Crops Information for Immortal Life

Basic Crops From The Vegetable Stall

All of the numbers in the above table are from the game itself, except for:

average return is equal to (selling price * average yield) - cost,

and average return per day, is the average return divided by growth period.

The crops in green, on the right side, are crops that are profitable during their season (anything more than an average return of 0/day).

There are 4 grades of crops: Standard quality (C), Good quality (G), Superior quality (S), and special versions (L). In the game, C quality items have a grey box around them, G have green, S have blue, and L have orange.

C is the base price, and what is used throughout this guide.

G is the base price + 1/5 of the base price. (Aka, 120%, or the base price x 1.2)

S is the base price + 2/5 of the base price. (140%, or the baseprice x 1.4)

L: I haven't found a clear mathematical formula behind these prices yet. They seem to vary based on something else.

For example:

Potato: C, G, S, and L (super potato) have selling prices of 35, 42, 49, and 175.

Bok Choy: C, G, S, and L (red bok choy) have selling prices of 55, 66, 77, and 250.

Soy bean: C, G, S, and L (green soybean) have selling prices of 10, 12, 14, and 20. Therefore, I would guess that L prices vary based on some other variable I haven't figured out. Maybe how hard they are to find, or how valuable they are for quests.

Some crops need to be unlocked before they can be bought.

A vague guide for how to unlock crops:

To unlock special crops at the store, first you need to complete a quest for Ji Yaohua and build the Pavilion. Then, to unlock more crops in the Pavilion, you will need to complete another quest to build the R&D department and unlock trade routes. Finally, check the room on the very right hand side of the Pavilion. There you can unlock trade routes and can trade crops for the opportunity to buy new seeds. Fair warning, after trading for the new seeds, they will show up in the Pavilion at the beginning of the next month, not immediately.

Crops By Season, Sorted For Profitability (Contains Spoilers)

Here are the different crops sorted by profitability and season.

At the top are the profitable crops (from highest to lowest).

Ice beans have an average of zero profit.

Below that, all of the ones in red lose money over time.

*For the sake of comparison, this guide incorrectly assumes that a seed will not yield any good or superior quality crops. So technically, all of the average returns are a little lower than can be realistically expected from a harvest in game.
