First thing we gotta establish is the Hive Mind Deck is the easiest and strongest deck in order to "get wins" & Queen Meve has the same formula of just being the easiest unique card to bring along for value and wins. Hive Mind Deck is unlocked at level 25 & Queen Meve at 49.

Its a deck meant to fill the board with lots of Str 1 cards and either buff them, transform them to bigger cards or simply eat them up with consume ability, to maintain board space. Its an easy deck to understand, master and essentially beat your opponent with (like every deck there is some counter enemies ofc, but it still does very well).

And Queen Meve is also just so easy & strong you can play her turn 1 and she also has the benefit of not really needing upgrades to get us value, her starting ability with a 3 turn mechanic is strong enough for the deck.

So lets pick Hive Mind & Queen Meve as a start.

Next Potions, best one imo is gonna be Hellfire Essence (unlocked at level 70). Having a random treasure in your starting deck can not only help you with each battle but some treasures are so powerful they can often give you an easy win. Mutagenerator is a good example.

Since this is a level 70 potion it will take some time to unlock but i used the standard Archmage's Flask (+25 starting energy) in almost all my runs until level 70 (Spells = Wins).

And now for the fun part spells! These became my 3 go to spells for each Hive Mind run.

Masterful Rapid Evolution (level 52) is meant to use on all those Str 1 units and turn them into anything between a 3-10 unit, for 5 energy cost. Super powerful for Hive Mind deck but can also be used on you units that are either damaged or have Poison, Burn effects on them to save the unit points, if they where to die.

Rapid Evolution at level 12 (Transform 1 allied unit into a random one, 2 energy), is a good replacment until level 52.

Masterful Thunder (level 36) is my own go to spell for damaging and or removing/aoeing enemy cards, which is a very important thing for almost every battle, some units you just really need to remove before they get to much value and together with some cards this is the best spell do exactly that, for only 6 energy. ⛈️

Thunder (Damage a enemy unit by 3, 3 energy) is something to use until level 36.

Masterful Portal (level 72) is a cheap 6 energy quick way to try to add a good unit to the board or fill it up with some more power, it ads a play an extra card mechanic which is always needed in tough battles. Plus it lets you play a COPY of one of your units, meaning you could draw the other after and have 2 Queen Meve on the board for example.

If you have it unlocked Visions (level 62) could be a replacement for 8 energy.

Portal (unlocked at start) is a strong card that can last as well (Create and play a unit, 6 energy) just to get to play an extra card, before level 72.

Last i wanted to show my ideal "Curses" for the Grandmaster difficulty, which i feelt made it easiest for a win, works well for the other difficulties as well.

Started out with +3 armor on enemy card, +3 armor doesn't add much i feel and your not spending the whole battle trying to damage every card.

Remove the option to skip rewards, easy pick for us, wont really change much.

Your start with 3 Curse Cards in your deck, sounds bad at first sight, but you can not only do well removing them by playing them but you also have the option to remove them after a battle with "remove a card" function. 👍

The number of rewards to choose from is reduced by 2, this got a bit annoying to me honestly only being given 1 choice but it still fine imo.

The maximum upgrade value of rewarded units is reduced by 4, doesn't hurt us much since we get so much value from our deck & spells already.

You gain 25% less Energy outside of battles, so you still get 15 energy from the Power Points.

Turns are limited to 30 sec, still good time to finish our turns.

The map is covered with fog restricting the view, sounds annoying but it adds flavor more then difficulty.

You can ofc add what curses you want, but this was my go to options.

So im hoping this guide (my first game guide ever 😱) could be of some use for you all and thanks for checking it out, leave a like and thumps up if you enjoyed it or thought it was helpful. 👍

Gl hunting down those monsters & beating Grandmaster!

Leaving you all with my first Grandmaster win, tuddle peeps!
