Introduction

Some people said the AI is too easy or too diifcult. In this guide i will show you how to change the difficulty of the AI depend on tracks.

Well the easiest way to open the files(if you don´t have or want to install a XML editor) is using the Wordpad. The downside is, the Wordpad can not read all Data. But this doesn´t matter for our usage.

DON´T FORGET TO SECURE YOUR ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE YOU DO THE FOLLOWING CHANGES!!

1. Go to Steam\SteamApps\Common\f12013\tracks\difficulties\choose your era

2. open ai_track_difficulties

3. if you are using wordpad, you will see a lot of cryptic signs. just ignore them.

Let´s say you want to change the AI for Amateur Mode. And this should be for the Bahrain Track.

4. use CTRL+F to search "bahrain". You will see a list of decimals.

1st: Amateur

2nd: Intermediate

3rd: Professional

4th: Expert

5th: Legend

5. The lowest number is 0.0000001 and the highest 0.9999999. So change the value between lowest and highest possible value. The value in the picture is 0.0400001. That´s 4.00001%.

THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO JUST WANT TO CHANGE SETTINGS FOR era_2013! IF YOU ARE PLAYING OTHER ERA, JUST IGNORE THE LAST STEP.

6. Go now to Steam\SteamApps\Common\f12013\tracks\difficulties\ and repeat steps 2 - 5.

Don´t copy the ai_track_difficulties from \era_2013 to \difficulties. Somehow the Game will not start anymore, if you do that. I couldn´t figure out why.
