Introduction
This guide is designed to help the farmers of Coral Island collect all of the gemstones currently found in-game to get the "Bejeweled" and "Part-Time Curator" achievements. I have organized them in the order that they appear in the journal to aid those who may only be missing a few from their collection. I have included photos of the gems, the geodes they can be found in, drop percentages, enchanting value, and selling prices.
All gemstones in Coral Island are found in the forest cavern and inside of geodes by breaking them at the Blacksmith. The different types of geodes by fishing, breaking crates, or breaking rocks in certain areas of the game when using a pickaxe or explosives. I recommend using your pickaxe to collect the geodes, and upgrading your pickaxe and enchanting it with Rare Drop to make these geodes more likely to drop as I found that they have a very low base drop rate, and you are only able to increase the drop rate when using the pickaxe (as far as I am aware).
My biggest tip if you are searching for only a few specific gems is to collect a ton of the geodes that drop the gems(s), and break them all open at the blacksmith at the same time. If you do not get an artifact you need, simply reload the game and open them again. Repeat until you get something you DO need.
Please note that even though the journal lists the five geode types and the earth gem, they are unable to be donated and are not factored into the museum collection or related achievements.
