Which pet is good early game?

Leopardess is fast to travel and easy to obtain.

You will get a water mount by completing the main story quest.

Should I keep my horse?

Yes, for later evolution. Don't invest too much in early game, though.

How to stop a horse?

Use [C] button.

How to get specific resource?

There is a button “Obtain” which explains how to get most things.

Ice – search in snowy mountain biome.

Clay – search for tall pillars in rivers and lakes.

You can gather special resources from stones and trees.

Can I play without donating?

Yes. Make sure to finish daily activities.

How to defend a village?

Find a village on the map and TP there. Talk to chief. He will give you a quest. Usually like “Kill 10 X mobs". Kill them and speak to chief back. Then talk to smuggler and the assault will start. The event lasts for ~2 minutes, and you have to get as many coins from drop mobs as you can.

Where to get Crystals?

Look into the sea. There are pillars to mine, like ore.

How to get Golden Sands?

Find a location marked with ingot on the map. Typically, it's a small lake with golden ground. Go there and use your Iron Cauldron. Remember, you can't repair your Cauldron, and they are expensive to craft.

How to learn Siege skill?

Craft a Worn Maul in Forge. Equip it and hit neutral buildings (ruins).

How to progress faster?

Find some people to play with. These may be your Steam friends or local players. Team up for tough content, do daily Team runs. Remember, four people attacking mega best means 400% durability saved VS doing it alone.

How to kill mega beasts?

Use a ranged weapon of your choice. Melee would get you killed. Aim for weak points.

There is a 30 minutes timer after first attack to beast. It will regenerate beast back to 100% HP if you prolong the battle.

What if my character dies?

Actually, it's not that bad. You don't lose EXP, items, or gear.

Where to fight mega beasts?

Not near your house. It may be damaged during battle.

How to get Team activity scrolls?

Your Game Pod provides one free scroll daily.

What about weapons?

Guns can be upgraded, but have no active abilities.

Magic weapon have 2+ active abilities and some passive, but you can't upgrade them.

Melee provides the best raw DPS, but you get lots of damage on mega beasts, and you can't hit flying mobs.

Game is too "old"! How can I catch up?

There is a soft cap on EXP, called "Server Level". You receive strong XP boost when you are below it. You will get penalty when you are ahead of it. Top server players usually have "Server level +1"

How to increase Power Score?

Outside of gear, gems improve stats. Gem slots opens with level up. Research Arcane in Spirit Orb for star points. Increasing your Home Build Points will open up to 5 slots for "Linked" pets. Linked pets provide 4-5% of their PS to your PS.

What weapon is best for my Attendant?

Not a melee one. Magic is okay, but ranged is top tier. They need no ammo. Equip your recruit with good gear to raise his PS.

How to obtain a new part for my pet?

Use temp Eggs. It's written on them what parts you can devour. 5 similar eggs devours will 100% give you a part.

How to level up Cooking Station to level 2?

You need to cook mushrooms for research. But you can't cook mushrooms in level 1 Cooking Station. Research level 2 camp and use it to cook meals required. Camp will expire after some time.

How to obtain Purple gear?

Use your Blast Furnace to burn all unwanted weapons. Then use Refiner to craft gear. You unlock higher refine tiers by using it. Don't waste 500+ exp essence on tier 1 and tier 2 crafting. Also, don't waste Earth bones, they only cost 100 points. Save bones to craft Blue weapons later, and smelt it.

Each 10 uses provide you with bonus refine, making an item 1 level higher. So by using common refining 10 times, you get 1 green stuff. Each 10 green stuff give you 1 blue stuff. Once you've leveled Refining Study perk to level, you can start smelting blue items. Each blue refine costs 2500 points, and you only have 5 slots. After using blue refine 10 times, you get your "free" purple item. Save it or sell it on Auction for premium coins.

How to get Cowries? (basic wallet coins)

Gather ocean shells by mining or hunting water creatures. Gather Golden Thread by completing 6 daily village quests. Then smelt them in Coin maker for 500 cowries per thread. You may also sell basic resources like Stone or Lumber in Auction. Wait till you level up, Cutting and Mining to get at least 2 resources per hit, so it would be less grindy.

Which currencies are there in the game?

- Pure Amber. This is a 100% premium coin, you can get them only by spending real $. It converts to almost any other coin in the game.

- Sage. Converts from Amber 1:1. There are ways to earn little amount of green coins as freemium player. Used for QoL purchases such as Home decorations, Pet EXP up and others.

- Ruby. Converts from Amber 1:1. You can earn Rubies by selling top rarity items though ingame Auction. Used to purchase top tier stuff at Auction and some decor.

- Cowries. Basic "free" coin in game. You spend them a lot - for Home upgrade, research and leveling up perks. You may get a lot of cowries by spending Amber, like 50 000 for 100.

So what can I buy?

Currently you may purchase:

- Pure Amber.

- Ultimate Perks. They provide you with Sage and Growth pack daily for 7/30 days. Kind of subscription. Note that "1300%" and "400%" means "discount" VS purchasing Amber directly and trading for Sage. It's not like 1300% Power Score added to your character.

- Growth Perks. You will get Sage as you level up, from 100 at level 10 up to 1500 at level 65.

- Daily Packs. They contain some Amber, village quest skip token, Jade and some other stuff according to your choice.
