Fix for west 81 my version

Guide

-This is a workaround for those interested. I know it looks long, but its actually a lot easier than you think and most of the work is just reading my instructions.

1) first, locate the original "west 81 for hotmod1868" mod file in your game workshop file

- The Call to Arms workshop file name is 400750

- The "west 81 for hotmod1868" file name is 289729950

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2897299509

next, repeat this process but for this mod and locate the "west 81 my version" file in your games workshop file

2) once you have both of these files open in seperate windows the next step is to drag and drop.

We will do the west 81 my version window first.

the first pathway below is for the first folder you encounter on your west 81 my version (Localizations)

3) Go to this pathway all the way in these files until you reach a ton of powerpoint template files. Then take the contents of the desc folder and drop the content in the same \localizations\default\interface\text\desc but in the "west 81 for hotmod1968" mod file

basically they are exactly the same but you need to overwrite this mod with the other. If it asks to replace then hit yes.

4) The final step is the other file you will encounter is the resource as the pathway stated below. copy the files or drag them all (it doesn't matter) into the "west 81 hotmod" resource file and hit yes on the overwrite.

VERY IMPORTANT

load this mod last after all of the others but now the only mod you need is West 81, you have no need for the "west 81 my version" anymore, sorry to the creator but i dont like to see people suffer.

I'm not an experienced modder by any means so if this works for you congrats as it worked and still works for me. If not I won't have an answer for your issues so dont reply unless confused about the steps.
