Intro
In this guide I will help break down 3 different methods you can use to solve the calendar puzzles for the Daily Tidy puzzles. Once you have cracked it it will easy every time!
A few things to note before we get started:
All daily tidy puzzles have variations of the level type. This means your solution won't be the same as another players. It is individual to you.
A calendar will have AT LEAST ONE pair of the same stickers already placed on the calendar already.
You can sometimes have multiple stickers on the same day. Similar to how it is on the campaign level.
When counting if you go past DAY 1 when counting backwards...try counting FORWARDS.
When counting if you go past DAY 31 when counting forwards...try counting BACKWARDS.
Method 1 - Two Stickers At The Top
The Start
For this you will see 2 stickers that are the same towards the top of the calendar like below:
Working out the day difference
Now you see the following information with these two stickers:
STICKER 1 - This is on DAY 2
STICKER 2 - This is on DAY 15
If you work out the difference in days between the two you will find they are 13 DAYS apart.
As you can either count the days between them on the calendar itself, or you could do 15 - 2 which would equal 13
Placing the Sticker
Now that we know the difference between the days is 13...we can work out where to place the sticker!
As we are at the top of the calendar already...we cannot count 13 days backwards from DAY 2 as it would lead us off of the calendar! So what do we do...we work FORWARDS instead.
So if you count 13 from the first sticker on DAY 2, you will end up on the DAY 15 where a sticker is already placed...however if you count forwards from there with the 13 day pattern you end up on DAY 28...which is a valid spot on the calendar to place the sticker!
Now we know what the day difference is...you can apply that difference for the rest of the stickers on the calendar!
NOTE: Some stickers may only have 2 of them on the calendar. Also if you go past DAY 31 with your counting...try working backwards instead of forwards!
Method 2 - One Sticker At The TOP, And One At The BOTTOM
The Start
So for this one we focus on these FISH stickers. There is one towards the top of the calendar and one towards the bottom of it.
Working out the day difference
So the stickers are as follows:
STICKER 1 - DAY 3
STICKER 2 - DAY 29
You can either count the days on the calendar itself between these two stickers or you can do 29 - 3 to get the difference.
This is different from the other two methods as you need to figure out the placement for the sticker in the middle.
If you do 29 - 3 you get 26 days difference. You can divide this number by HALF to get the day difference that you can use to place your sticker.
So in this case 26 divided by 2 is 13.
Placing the Sticker
So now you know the difference is 13 DAYS...you can use the placement of the top and bottom sticker to work out the middle placement.
As you cannot count backwards from DAY 3...you count forwards and you'd end up on DAY 16. This is 13 days difference from the first sticker.
As you cannot count forwards from DAY 29...you count backwards. So you end up on DAY 16.
NOTE: Once you have figured out the day difference it applies to ALL stickers on the calendar. So no stickers will have different day differences.
Method 3 - Two Stickers At The Bottom
The Start
This method is similar to METHOD 1. For this you will see 2 stickers that are the same towards the bottom of the calendar like below:
Working out the day difference
Now you see the following information with these two stickers:
STICKER 1 - This is on DAY 20
STICKER 2 - This is on DAY 31
If you work out the difference in days between the two you will find they are 11 DAYS apart.
As you can either count the days between them on the calendar itself, or you could do 31 - 20 which would equal 11
Placing the Sticker
Now that we know the difference between the days is 11...we can work out where to place the sticker!
As we are at the bottom of the calendar already...we cannot count 11 days forwards from DAY 31 as it would lead us off of the calendar! So what do we do...we work BACKWARDS instead.
So if you count 11 backwards from the first sticker on DAY 31, you will end up on the DAY 20 where a sticker is already placed...however if you count backwards from there with the 11 day pattern you end up on DAY 9...which is a valid spot on the calendar to place the sticker!
Now we know what the day difference is...you can apply that difference for the rest of the stickers on the calendar!
NOTE: Some stickers may only have 2 of them on the calendar. Also if you go past DAY 1 with your counting...try working forwards instead of backwards!
