Introduction

This guide is to describe the achievements of Unrailed!

The game's achievement progress in Steam is always popping up progress for several achievements at once which makes it hard to keep track of what you're actually going for, so I have grouped similar achievements that work towards each other.

I have compiled the achievement name and the subtext on the achievements page.

Unlock requirements are obvious for some, but below the more cryptic ones I put the unlock requirements. For some challenging ones I have also added some additional info that might help.

Achievements

Stroller / Hiker / Voyager / Wayfarer / Explorer Reached 100 / 200 / 500 / 1000 / 2000 m in endless mode (easy). Advanced: Stroller / Hiker / Voyager / Wayfarer / Explorer Reached 100 / 200 / 500 / 1000 / 2000 m in endless mode (medium). Expert: Stroller / Hiker / Voyager / Wayfarer / Explorer Reached 100 / 200 / 500 / 1000 / 2000 m in endless mode (hard). Toy Train / Orient Express / Trans-Siberian Railway / Deep Space Transit Built a 500 / 1000 / 2000 / 4000 m long track in endless (any difficulty). Incurious / Mojave Courier / Nanuk / Satan's Minion / Apollo 13 There are other biomes?! / The heat never bothered you anyway. / You really like cold weather, don't you? / Is it really that pleasant around here? / Reached for the far side of the universe. Spend 30 continuous minutes in the corresponding biome. Shopaholic Who doesn't like long shopping trips? Stay in the shop for a continuous hour. Lost Hidden Achievement Get lost of the menu screen. (Run really far. Out of view). Not obtainable during events. E.g. Christmas, Halloween Missed Opportunities 50 train stations successfully ignored! This does not have to be done in a single run. Try this on Easy and before skipping stations get a checkpoint with an upgraded train, then go for as many skipped stations as you can until you lose, then you still have that checkpoint ready to go again. Industrialist Crafting wagon busy for an entire minute. This is possible at higher levels, but if you want to rush it upgrade your storage wagon and not your crafting wagon, then load it full and make sure to not let the crafter get full.

Cows are in the first biome, so you want to get as many upgrade points in the first biome before progressing, then grab a cow right before you leave and then rush your engine upgrades to get to space as soon as you can. Wrong way! You need to get to the right side! Turn your train to the left. This may have been updated, or bugged, but you may have to go as far as 50 meters in reverse. Destructionist Used (a lot of) dynamite. Use 100 dynamite. Marathon You just ran a marathon! Move 42,195 units Collector Unlocked everything. Unlocks are the trains and character outfits, can be checked in the unlocks menu. Engineer Crafted over 10,000 tracks in total. Scrooge Hoarded 25 bolts. 25 is a lot of upgrades to forego; make sure not to ignore survivability. Rocketman Flew around with the jetpack for 30 minutes in one round. Ducky Danger Removed 100 ducks with dynamite. There is a seed for a dynamite challenge that might help skillEY Also one that spawns a lot of animals used in a challenge AnimAs Shepherd Had four different animals attached to the milk wagon at the same time. Despite the description saying Different animals, you can just attach 4 animals to the milk wagon. This has been updated and now requires different animals as described. Leet Crashed at exactly 1337m. To be safe make sure you have enough to checkpoint somewhat close to 1337m so that if you miss it you can try again. Achievement Master You're still playing? Get all the other achievements.

New Achievements:

Climate Change Use the bucket to melt snow. No Space For Improvement Reach the space biome without spending any bolts except for the engines. If you are able to get the challenge and screw in all stages: stay in the grasslands until you reach a shop while having at least 7 bolts, then buy the engine upgrade 4 times consecutively. If you want to ignore the screw and challenge then stay in the grasslands until you have 12 screws saved up. Terminal Station Reach the terminal station in endless Megalomaniac Blow up 3 different types of animals at once with dynamite. Where They Belong Bring a bandit or outlaw into hell. Fire fighter Extinguish 10 Lava Blobs in one game.
