Solution
What DID work for me were pigeons combined with the punky parrot that comes out when you give the punk rocker a cinnamon bun to feed the birds (you'll have to complete this challenge first). Here's how I completed the 5 Living Things challenge:
- Go to the area with Hotbeans and the punk rocker
- Set up the tripod in the alley exit leading to the fashion show, kind of close to the wall of the cafe-looking building next to Hotbeans
- Move away so the three pigeons come back
- Line up the shot to get the three pigeons right in front of the camera, along with the pigeon back near the bandstand and the punky parrot when it moves toward the edge of its grassy area
- Turn on the object recognition toggle (outlined with a red square in attached image)
- Little icons that look like snails in speech bubbles will begin to light up when the pigeons and punky parrot are recognized (outlined with red circles in attached image)
- It'll be difficult with all the business people running around, so it's all about timing; wait until you have all five snail icons popped up, then take the shot
- Finished- take the picture back to the challenge guy and turn it in
Challenge complete.
