How to access all the questions/prompts/answers for certain Jackbox games

Disclaimer

If anyone actually attempts this, they're obviously going to know the questions in these games, which will probably ruin the games forever for that person, especially if they actually play these games with friends/family. Should be obvious, but you've been warned anyway. Also, I haven't and don't really plan on doing this for the games I play, I just realized it was possible, so I'm posting this in case anyone wants to archive this information.

The Concept

If you aren't already aware, Steam has a "Big Picture Mode", which is typically meant for players who want to play Steam games on big screens with their console controllers. You can still use Big Picture Mode without either of these though. One of the features exclusive to BPM is the Local Music Library, which lets you listen to the soundtracks from your downloaded games. I was looking at it today, and there must be something different with the way Jackbox sorts their sound files, because literally all of their voice recordings, yes ALL of their voice recordings are saved as individual albums on the Local Music Library.

Knowing this, you can listen to each of the questions/prompts/answers for the games that have narration audio recordings in the Local Music Library. If someone had the time and patience, they could make a paste bin for each game, although I doubt anyone is that crazy.

It looks like this bug exists for Party Pack 2 as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if it works for all Jackbox games.

Here's some examples with pictures:

Push The ButtonAll of these albums contain the voice recordings for Push The Button.

Typically, the players are individually given prompts on their devices, since aliens get different prompts than humans. However, after each round the narrator says the human prompt so that everyone can judge the players responses.

This means you could theoretically create a list of all human prompts. If you wanted to use this information to cheat, you could keep in mind that each alien prompt is only slightly different from the human counterpart and use the alien prompt to find a similar prompt on the list.

Trivia Murder PartyI'm pretty sure these are all for Trivia Murder Party, based on the stuff I've heard so far.

In normal rounds, the Narrator only says the trivia questions, not the answers, so you won't be able to cheat easily with this information unless you go out of your way to look it up.

In the final round, the Narrator gives prompts like "Harry Potter Characters", which the players than choose from a list, so it's the same situation as the normal rounds.

Again, might be interesting to create lists of these just so they exist.

This is definitely the largest collection of audio recordings out of all of the Jackbox games.

Quiplash / Role ModelsThese albums contain voice recordings for Quiplash (Party Pack 2) and Role Models.

That means that the bug most likely exists for all of the Jackbox games.I put these two together since their right next to each other in the Local Music Library, but also because their audio recordings have no real use for actually playing the game. They're still interesting to look through though.

The Quiplash narrations will give you each of the Quiplash prompts, which would definitely be interesting to look through. Something to keep in mind with this game is that it's pretty impossible to cheat, since the winner is based on the group's opinions, so it's probably easier to just play the game normally if you're trying to win. The Role Model narrations only give the categories and roles for each round as far as I can tell. Again, not really useful at all, but probably interesting to look at.

WalkthroughHere's a quick walkthrough:

Click on the Big Picture Mode icon at the top-right corner of the Steam window (It should be just to the left of the minimize button)

Click on "Library"

Click on "Local Music" on the menu at the left of your screen

Click "Albums"

EDIT: If either Local Music Library or the actual files don't show up in BPM, you may not have the game actually installed, so make sure you install the game first.

Conclusion

In conclusion, idk maybe someone will find this useful. I thought it was interesting, at least.

If anyone wanted to archive them, this is definitely a much easier method than playing the games repeatedly.

There's probably a better way to find this info, I just wanted to post about this method when I found it.

Feel free to comment if you have any insight!
