Intro THERE WILL BE SPOILERS
Welcome Ranchers!
This guide is a WIP as of 12/12/24 [last edited 12/15/24] and will be updated as I explore the Grey Labyrinth so if you found something before me, congrats! If there is any labeling mistakes since I don't know what some items are called please correct me and I'll update the guide to be as accurate as possible.
I hope you all enjoy the new update!
This guide will NOT include how to get to Ember Valley or Starlight Strand! This guide is only how to enter the Labyrinth and what can be found inside it!
All screenshots are provided by me from my own gameplay
Finding The Entrances
Entrance Location #1 in Ember Valley
The entrance to the Labyrinth is in the far end of Ember Valley towards the lava. If you've accessed this area before I'm sure you must have seen the giant door that didn't take you anywhere but was surrounded by lots of volcanic stuff.
Here is what the entrance actually looks like not on the map! Once you enter that door you're one step closer to entering slimy fun new content
Entrance Location #2 in Starlight Strand
Once you get to the giant colorful fissure area there is a hole (you have to pop the gordo slime if you haven't already and then jump into the hole. Once in the hole there are some ledges at the top so if you follow along the left side you will find the entrance door with a similar puzzle to the one in Ember Valley.
Unlocking The Door
When you enter the cave you will come across a closed door with a weird looking orb (I don't know if it has a name yet) and a slime shaped rock with light coming out of its face. Because the puzzle to unlock the door here is nearly the same as the one in Starlight Strand I will not be showing how to solve that one, only this one since I came across it first.
Puzzle Solving and New Item
Clearly this is a puzzle to open said door but it isn't as difficult as it may seem! When launching the game after the new update you are given a recipe to a new utility item called the Radiant Projector.
With this new item, the Radiant Projector, you can guide the light to the weird looking orb (I'm just gonna call it weird looking orb until I get corrected). Personally I solved the puzzle using two Radiant Projectors which will cost you:
Here is how I solved the puzzle myself. You can rotate your gadgets until they are angled how you want them to be.
Something Funny Yet Useful I found
You can take back your Radiant Projectors and the door will stay opened so if you need to reuse them somewhere else you're able to take them with you!
Questionable Doors?
Upon entering the new area There is two open black spaces to the right and if you want up a little further there is another one to the left, attempting to enter them damages you for 10HP. Not much to say here just wanted to include them to make it easier to update later. I did not find any secret doors like these in the entrance to starlight Strand.
Into The Lab And What I Found In It
Here is what we see once we enter! It looks really cool so far and I love the aesthetic :) Happy Sliming :D In my next edit of this I will try to separate resources and other stuff into their own tab.
PLORT DOOR1 Rock Plort
There is a second door after you open this one but you can't open it from here
NEW CHARACTERGigi the botanist / explorer! She asks you to find her somewhere in the Grey Labyrinth and will communicate with you throughout your travels. Once you finish talking to her she will open the door to your right.
