When looking for ringtail slimes, getting frustrated is easy because they like to hide. So while on Ember island, watch for small slime-shaped stone statues. These are usually ringtail slimes that have been hit by sunlight, directly turning them to stone.

To find ringtail slimes that have yet to turn to stone, check behind waterfalls where crystal and bat slimes like to hang out. One waterfall, in particular, is in the northern section of the continent across from a hole in the ground and is an excellent place to start looking for unfrozen ringtail slimes.

Gordo slimes are giant slimes that usually hide secrets of some sort. Unfortunately, these slimes live in hard-to-find areas, so always keep an eye out for giant slimes. After finding one, it must be fed its favorite food to reveal what they are hiding. To find this cave of valuable resources, look for the Gordo hunter slime that lives in a small beach area towards the south end of the purple part in the Starlight Strand.

To access the beach, make sure to come from the north as a cliff is blocking the way from the other directions. The Gordo hunter slime's favorite food is Roostero. After being given enough Roostero, the slime will explode, revealing a small cave filled with helpful resources and a collectible pod.

Hidden Teleporter To Ember Valley In Rainbow Fields

A quick way to Ember Valley is through a hidden teleporter. To unlock this teleporter, find the Gordo pink slime that lives in the northwestern part of Rainbow Fields. Players should pass some tabby slimes just before reaching the Gordo pink slime to tell if they are on the right track.

Luckily the Gordo pink slime doesn't have a favorite food like the other Gordo slimes. It will eat absolutely anything. Feed this Gordo pink slime any food, and it will harmlessly explode, into smaller slimes, to reveal a waterspout. Use that waterspout to launch up to higher ground, then follow a path to the teleporter, activate it, and be transported to Ember Island.
