Introduction
The stock market in this game is extremely volatile, so throwing money in without knowing the value range of the stock, you can easily check back 10 minutes later to see the price at a quarter of what it was. Thankfully, this also makes it an incredibly broken source of money.
Chart
The name of the game is to buy high, sell low. Or the opposite of that. I forget which. Anyway, I kept track of the prices in my game, and it seems like most of the stocks fluctuate between a minimum and maximum value, with a few special exceptions. Here are the prices I recorded in my game. Keep in mind these probably aren't accurate to the actual upper and lower bounds; merely the highest and lowest prices I personally saw for each stock. Nevertheless, it should give you a good idea of whether or not a stock is worth buying at a particular price.
Note: These prices were recorded after beating all story missions. I have recorded some values well outside these bounds during certain parts of the story, but I will detail those in another section to keep things consistent.

Special Exceptions
CRUS - Cruelty Squad
Your own company seems to work differently than all the others. I started recording its price at 724 in the post game, and it has reached 1847 at the time of writing, but the price of its stock never seems to fall like the other companies. It just steadily and slowly rises. If you want consistent long-term gains, or you simply want to buff your ZKZ Transactional Rifle without worrying about market fluctuation, this seems to be the stock to buy.
Note: CRUS does fall in value at certain places in the story, but seemingly not in the post game. I will update this section when I figure out exactly where this stock tanks and how long it takes to recover.
GTC - G-Tech
You are personally hired to assassinate the CEOs of G-Tech in the second mission, which should be a fair warning to get your money out. After Paradise, the company goes under, and the stock becomes worthless and impossible to purchase.
GAGA - GamesGames
Mirroring the real-life GameStop, the GamesGames stock price goes through a massive short squeeze. A little after you start the game, the stock will drop to around 10 dollars at the lowest I've seen it. After you complete Mall Madness, a short squeeze will occur, pushing the price into the thousands. Obviously a great potential for profit exists, but don't keep your money in too long, because after the squeeze, the price will plummet and the company will go bankrupt, becoming worthless and impossible to purchase like G-Tech. This occurs after completing Apartment Atrocity. Interestingly, the GAGA short squeeze seems to occur at the same time as the boom in the "highly speculative biological currency" market, aka fish. GAGA seems to exist as a more profitable, but riskier early game money making opportunity. Other stocks and body parts will also rise outside of their normal bounds during this section, but you need to wait a while for those changes to be noticeable, and nothing rises as fast as GAGA. More info on that in the last section.
Mall Madness And Apartment Atrocity
After assassinating the governor in Mall Madness, every asset in the game will begin a rise well above its normal values. Every stock, part, and fish seemingly has its upper bounds temporarily removed, so no matter what you are invested in, you'll be likely to make money. But that's mostly irrelevant because of the GAGA short squeeze. No asset in the game will rise as rapidly as GAGA during this moment in the story, so load up on nothing but GAGA before doing that mission.
After completing Apartment Atrocity, this event will seemingly end, and all assets will plummet back to their initial values, except for GAGA, which will go out of business entirely, so sell before completing that mission. I left my game run overnight with the eyes of corporate insight on just to test if this event will eventually end on its own without completing the next level. GAGA is currently worth 372,000, and I can't find a single asset worth under 20,000 per share, so I think its safe to say that it is indefinite.
