Supply Chain Guide

PRO TIPS

This guide assumes you have all researches unlocked.

- make sure you get your first mine and quarry asap.

- Do yourself a favor and rush the agriculture tech tree's farm and animal branches, then get pharmacy and Luxury apartment unlocked so you have enough population room and defense against plagues.

- When you build production buildings, treat Delivery Stations from the Logistics Tech tree like the Marketplace. It should be at the centre of your production buildings and supplies all buildings in its radius with the necessary raw materials to function.

- You can use supply Terminals near housing chunks and fill it with food and clothes for easier access to your settlers. I find this unnecessary but for optimisation its worth mentioning.

- Transfer Station radius should overlap your production buildings for quick gathering.

- Get Market Expansion upgrade afterwards to increase the maximum range you can build houses in.

- Remember that you can get the rest of the seeds and animals from ordering them at the water trading post. Some seeds and animals you can only get through hunting or gathering.

- Build Theatres, cathedrals, hospitals, latrines and boiling rooms near the centre of your marketplace so they encompass more houses.

- When making farms, make sure they're around compost plants for bonus to yield. Make 1 Crop for each seed. That way you grow 1 of every crop.

- When making Groves, make sure they're around a compost plant for bonus to yield, grow 1 of every fruit to have a base diversity to your food.

- when making pastures, make sure they're around Mills. Switch between Flour, Malt and Tofu Mills. Have 1 Pasture for each animal. That way you pasturing 1 of every animal Have 2 corrals for horses and 2 corrals for donkeys. Dont bother putting those around a Mill, theyre good as is.

- When making Nurseries, grow 1 of everything. They dont need to be around the mill.

- When making fishing ports, build 3 and fish for 1 of everything. Build 1 fishpond and 1 fishing dock for more seafood.

Supply Chain Pt 1

Each Build will produce some excess resources that you can sell on the market.

Sustainable Steel, brick, glass, glass bottle, refined fuel chain:

1/1 Fuel Factory > 1/1 Fuel Factory > 1/1 Smelter > 1/1 Smelter > 1/1 Kiln Factory: Glass > 1/1 Kiln Factory: Brick > 1/1 Kiln Factory: Glass Bottle > 1/1 Sandpit: Sand > 1/1 Sandpit: Sand > 1/1 Sandpit: Clay

- Build 4 rows of these. This will be the backbone of your major housing production resources. 4 or 8 rows seems to be enough for an entire game.

Sustainable Forge:

1/1 Forge: Building Kit(Turn off Brick option) > 1/1 Forge: Building Kit(turn off Glass option) > 1/1 Forge: Gear > 1/1 Forge: Tool kit > 1/1 Water sawmill: Plank > 1/1 Water sawmill: Plank > 1/1 advanced smithy: Steel tool> 1/1 advanced smithy: steel tool > 1/1 advanced smithy: steel tool > 1/1 knitting workshop: rope > 1/1 reed field > 1/1 reed field > 1 Mill: Flour > 1/1 12x7 Cattle or Buffalo Eco-Pasture

- Build 4 rows of these.

You should only need 1 cattle or buffalo eco-pasture though. Build the eco-pasture around the Mill for that pasture bonus. For your double forge building kits, turn either brick option on for one building and the glass option on the other so they each use brick or glass exclusively to make building kits. These are important for future buildings. You can also build 3 more 12x7 cattle or buffalo eco-pastures around the Mill for excess resources to sell off.

Sustainable Tools:

Advanced Smithy: Iron Tool > Advanced Smithy: Iron Tool > Advanced Smithy: Handcart > Advanced Smithy: handcart > Advanced Smithy: Steel Tool > Advanced Smithy: Hardwood Tool > Advanced Smithy: Sturdy Hardwood > Advanced Smithy: > Advanced Smithy: Obsidian Tool > Advanced Smithy: Trap/ Steel Tool > 5/5 Obsidian Mine > 5/5 Iron Mine > > 1/1 Knitting workshop: rope > 1/1 reed field > 1/1 reed field > 1/1 Compost Plant > 1/1 13x8 Forest Farm > 1/1 13x8 Hardwood Forest Farm

- Build as is, swapping out traps for steel tools when you max out traps. Build the 13x8 forest farm and 13x8 hardwood forest farm around the Compost Plant's Area of effect. You get hardwood from gaining rep with trading partners. Add in another pair of 13x8 farms for excess resources.

Sustainable Forest Farm:

1/1 Compost plant > 1/1 Compost plant > 1/1 Compost plant > 1/1 13x8 Forest Farm > 1/1 13x8 Forest Farm > 1/1 13x8 Forest Farm > 1/1 13x8 Forest Farm > 1/1 13x8 hardwood Farm > 1/1 13x8 hardwood Farm > 1/1 13x8 hardwood Farm > 1/1 13x8 hardwood Farm > 1/1 13x8 bamboo Farm > 1/1 13x8 bamboo Farm > 1/1 13x8 bamboo Farm > 1/1 13x8 bamboo Farm >

- Build each 13x8 resource farm around the compost plant. If you did this correctly you should have 4 farms around each compost plant that produce Bamboo, Trees and Hardwood. This is typically enough for an entire playthrough.

Sustainable Apiary:

1/1 Apiary: Honey > 1/1 Apiary: Honey > 1/1 Apiary: beeswax

- honey takes twice as long as beeswax to produce, so for every beeswax apiary, have 2 honey apiaries. Build as needed.

Sustainable sugar:

1/1 Sugar Workshop: Sugar Cane > 1/1 Sugar Workshop: Sugar beet > 1/1 Sugar Workshop: Maple Sap

- Only have the designated resource on per workshop, turn the rest off.

Sustainable Butcher:

- Build 10 of these things staffed by 1 person, with each one focusing on one type of meat. If you built the base 1 of every pasture for each animal you should have enough material to do this.
