PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS PUBG Zeroing distance guide

Intro

Hello and thank you for choosing my guide. This guide will tell you the steps to sniping correctly. I will tell these things from my own experience. I might not be just right, but these things shown here have been working for me really well. Picture shows vss sniper rifle.

Distance

First you have to look at the distance between you and the enemy. Using visible landmarks from the map is really easy and gives you almost accurate distance between you and the enemy player. You can also just guess the distance and get it right after playing and getting used to the game. Even if you have the distance set off, like 100 metres, it will not effect that much.

You have to use the squares on the map to get the distance. One square equals 100 metres. Just count all the squares together and you have the distance.

Here is two screenshots from my game. I want to shoot at that house and kill the imaginary enemy and I have 100 metres as zeroing distance. More distance has to be added. Opening the map is next step. After that I have to count the squares to the house from the map. And set it right.

Setting

Now that we know the distance we have to adjust the zeroing. Default buttons to do that are page up and page down, they work as they sound. Distance between the house and me is about 400 metres, so I will put the zeroing to 400 metres.

Depending on the sniper you are using they have different bullet drop rates and the bullets take different time to travel to the destination you want to shoot. Keep those two things in mind when shooting. One thing that also matters is are you higher or lower than the target? That will also effect if you should shoot higher or lower.

Should you use higher or lower zeroing if the enemy is in middle of a square? It depends on you. Do you want to aim higher or lower, that is the only thing to keep in mind then.

In this picture the zeroing is set using page up key.
