What Is This About?
Hello everyone once again! If you experienced one armed cook before it's new menu upgrade then you might know what I am talking about but if you are new and after that update then let me explain: There is a main menu which is where you select what to do and what to play but an update changed not just the looks of it but it actually removed a mode called cookoff mode which was a fun mode where you would compete against other players by cooking the required food and required amount of it and bringing it to a seat. It was fun but they removed it for some reason maybe because they wanted the game to be more relaxed and non-competitive. But did you know they didn't actually remove any of this?! They just hid it in the files and I just so happened to find a way to get to it when I was trying to play around with something else. Also it's a frame perfect click in this guide so just a little heads up. Let's get to the guide now!
Step 1
At the regular new menu look at the top right of your screen and click more and click tutorial.
Step 2
You can play as much of the tutorial as you want so it doesn't matter here but if you want to continue on with this guide then press main menu and for a brief moment you will see an OPEN NOW! button at the bottom of the screen (this may not work if you already have a gift to open up) but it will vanish quickly. You need to click on that button but the only way for it to show up is to leave a level (it will show up from opening the game but the button doesn't work and the mouse is centered out of the screen at start). You need to be frame perfect with this and leaving the tutorial is the fastest way to try again and the most effective way. If you do happen to click on it then you will see the gifts menu open up which is just the same open gifts thing but you might notice one thing... It says "No gifts."! If you see it say that then that means you did it right but if you see a gift there then simply open it to get rid of it and try again.
That's It!
So after step 2 you might be wondering what to do. Well... nothing is the answer! Just wait up to 10 seconds and you will be automatically transferred to the old main menu screen!!!! It's pretty classic for those who know of this and a new experience for those who don't! There isn't much to do here but... Is that... COOKOFF?! The explanation for this mode is at the beginning of this guide but if you try to start it nothing will happen... so... it's... broken?!... Well... not exactly... because the mode is actually working as normal it's just you have nobody to compete against so if you wanna see this mode in action then just call up your friends or somebody to play with.
