Neo - Tuning Guide

Introduction

I would like to share the results of my experimentation with you so that you too can have a great riding experience with the Neo. Have fun :-)

Powertrain

Coolant Radiator

- Large Size Radiator (Necessary in order to keep the motor cooled down)

Intake

- Short Intake (a little more Horsepower without additional fuel consumption)

Enginge

- V8 180HP (personal preference because of possible top speed, motor sound and fuel consumption. I4 150HP is also a nice choice, it has higher RPM and a different sound. You could go for bigger engines as you wish, just be aware of the relative high fuel consumption on long journeys)

Turbocharger

- Stage 1 (more Horsepower without additional fuel consumption)

Transmission

- HM6 (personal prefernce, I like it because 5th and 6th gear reduce the tendency to overheat the motor on long high speed travels such as the long bridge near ansan speedway)

Final Drive Ratio

- 4.27 (good choice in combination with V8 180HP and HM6 transmission. You probably want to adjust this if you choose a different motor)

Center LSD

- 2 Way Clutch Pack LSD (100)

Front LSD

- 2 Way Clutch Pack LSD (100)

Rear LSD

- 1.5 Way Clutch Pack LSD (50, 30) (This is important for nice handling and stability similar to a rally car)

Brake

Brake Power

- 200% (More break power is always good, especially in emergency situations)

Brake Pad

- Mossan BX1 (personal preference, you can also use the standard brake pads)

Suspension

Anti-roll Bar

- Front and Rear 200%

(Reduces the probability of the car flipping over sideways, hence the name "Anti-roll Bar")

Suspension Spring

- All wheels 80% (necessary for offroad in order to keep connection between wheels and ground)

Suspension Damper

- All wheels 400% (necessary for offroad in order to absorb energy when you land after a jump)

Suspension Ride Height

- All wheels +10cm (good to avoid contact between the chassis and the ground and therefore enables good control of the car)

Wheel Spacer

- All wheels 100mm (good addition to the anti-roll bar, lowers the tendency that the car tips over sideways)

Angle Kit

- +10 (more steering angle means more control in extreme situations e.g. when the car is drifting sideways and you want it to steer back straigt forward)

Tire

Tire

- All wheels KM-2-45 (best grip on tarmac and good enough offroad)

Wheel

Wheel

- All wheels Fortem (personal preference, it's lightweight and looks nice. You can choose whatever floats your boat)

Aero Dynamic

These are all personal preference, you can choose whatever you like.

- Front Bumper #4

- Bonnet #2

- Side Skirt #2

- Rear Bumper #2

- Rear Spoiler #1

- Rear Wing #1

Etc

Taxi License

- You can choos a Taxi License if you wish to. (I like to go for offroad shortcuts, it's a lot of fun with this car)
