Complex Battle Mechanics

Table Of Content

This guide have the power to control almost everything in battle. However do take note that it will not show you how to teambuild/beat Level at unreasonable ID level constantly/Break the game. It only show how some hidden mechanics/ Deal more dmg/ Controlling and strategize.

Warning: There will be some spoiler for Canto 4, Canto 5 and Canto 6 as they contain good enemies with example to showcase. I will put Spoiler Warning and place spoiler tag and edit the picture as much as I can.

I just publish this for now. I do not think anyone will read this guide but if you read this....

You may know the 2 of the stuff I give but I still have alot of stuff to fill up and make a setup for the example (Pain). Could be a useless guide but quite fun to list down all the stuff like how I found out some hidden stuff in LOR. May take me a month to finish. Thx.

Double Slot is a mechanic you know about in Non-Focused Encounter. Gain Extra Slot every passing turn.

The order you get it based on the Number order shown below

Turn 2:

Turn 3:

Turn 4:

The Highest Slot Limit for Non-Focused Encounter is 12.

Focused Encounter

Instead of getting 12 Slot max, The max is based on Participant Limit (Max sinner to bring in a fight)

Thing to Note

You can do alot of crazy things with one or more extra slot. I will showcase Solo [Zwei Association South Section 4] Gregor.

[Zwei Association South Section 4] Gregor Ability

- Gain Defense Level up and Defense Power Up to all Allies (Inculding Self)

- Giving Allies Defense Power Up will boost Allies Defense skill

- By Gaining Defense Level, Increase Coin Power Up or dmg when using certain skill

- By Gaining Defense Level, Enemies will deal less dmg to Gregor the more he have.

Making him having few extra slot will have 100% uptime on his coin power condition and buff to all allies. His is extermely tanky once it got it going.

Highly recommend you give extra slot to unit that have Charge Based / Rare buff / Rare debuff / Special Debuff.

Charge Based ( Poise, Charge, Self Temor Charge)

Rare Buff will be (+ Coin power Up / Atk Up / Protection)

Rare Debuff will be ( + Coin power Down / Atk Down / Fragile)

Special Debuff ( Dark Flame, Echos Of The Manor)

Pros And Cons

Pros:

Having extra slot is extremely good for Charge/Self Temor Charge Unit by gain 2 or more times faster and only lose 1 Charge each turn with net gain of 1 or more every turn.

The lesser the sinner the more slot you gain for each sinner

Good for unit to apply debuff 2 times (e.g Fragile) in the same turn.

Can fill up slot to make a prefect team if lacking an sinner(Burn Team, Temor Team, etc)

Gain the same sin affinity resource with extra slot

Having more Support Passive the less you bring

Ramping up SP faster

If going for solo, you can redirect all attack.

Cons:

Having a rough start, the less sinner you bring to battle the less you can clash on turn 1.

Depend on how many you bring, it take a few turn to build it back up.

Having less sinner mean less varieties of sin resource. Limit access to most EGO.

Having less access to sinner EGO each time you remove a sinner

When dying with a extra slot will lose all slot, other sinner will not get anymore slot unless maximum limit have not been reached.

Getting Stagger will disable all slot on the sinner

Slot sharing the same speed which may lead to unable to clash/redirect any attack

Enemies Targetting

Many people would just winrate and it will kill everyone on screen (I'm lazy). But for people who want to win hard boss/ Max dmg / Apply debuff in order. This is very helpful.

Defensive Skill Targetting

When Clashing Emeny Skill using Defensive Skill (Mostly Evade) you will find out sometimes evade do not trigger. It because you targetted the wrong skill slot. Video on the right is another way to see which order the skill slot will trigger. When using defensive skill, put it on the Fastest left most body part or the first red arrow that blink.

Game Priority Order

Limbus have Order for Clashing, One-Sided and Defensive Skill. Sinner and Enemies have different order. Shown below.

Sinner Faster Speed:

Sinner Unit Clash > Sinner Unit One-Sided > Sinner Unit Defensive Skill

Enemies Faster/ Same Speed:

Enemy fastest body part Left 1st Skill > Enemy fastest body part Left 2nd Skill >

Enemy fastest body part Left 3rd Skill > Enemy 2nd fastest body part Left 1st Skill > So On

Example

SSS 1, 2 = Sinner Skill Slot 1,2 / ESS 1,2 = Enemy Skill Slot 1, 2

Sinner have Faster speed than Enemy

SinnerSlot Sinner Choice Enemy Slot Result Which Order Came First? SSS1 Clashing ESS2 Clashing ESS2 This goes 1st SSS2 One Sided ESS3 One Sided the Enemies This goes 2nd None None ESS1 Sinner got One sided attacked / May get staggered This goes 3rd

Enemy Speed faster than sinner (Assume it only have only one body part)

Sinner Slot Sinner Choice Enemy Slot Result Which Order Came First? SSS1 Clashing ESS2 Clashing ESS2 / If staggered, Enemy one sided you This goes 2nd SSS2 Clashing ESS3 Clashing ESS3 / If staggered, Enemy one sided you This goes 3rd None None ESS1 Sinner got One sided attacked / May get staggered This goes 1st

Enemy have the same speed as Sinner (Assume it only have only one body part)

Sinner Slot Sinner Choice Enemy Slot Result Which Order Came First? SSS1 Clashing ESS1 Clashing ESS1 This goes 1st SSS2 One Sided ESS1 One Sided ESS1 / If staggered, Enemy one sided you This goes 3rd None None ESS2 Sinner got One sided attacked / May get staggered This goes 2nd

Why this is important?

If you saw the video you can do insane dmg with it. However in a team with mostly 4 sinner+, some will have double slot. Some will be fast and slow. Maximize benefit and give enemies debuff. Plan it well and you have power to manipulate RNG.

(There also I found out alot of people want to one sided with the same speed (Stagger Threshold is close) end up getting stagger first)
