Mini-Guide
It's a mini-guide! Get it, like Miriam's cooking... yeah, okay, moving on. This guide goes through the choices that need to be selected in order to have Miriam stick by the protagonist during Chapter 8 when the protagonist reveals her feelings about the Colonel. The best part is that staying true to Miriam is completely compatible with getting the true ending.
Chapter 1:
Pep-talk your best friend. instead of Change the subject to school gossip.
When Miriam is having a crisis of faith, go ahead and cheer her up like a real friend.
Sit by Best Friend instead of Sit by Colonel Sanders
You're not losing out on anything by sitting with Miriam and you'll still get the same love boost with the Colonel for acing the quiz even at halfway across the room.
Chapter 3:
Clank instead of Pop
You'll still automatically ditch her once you get to cooking practice (⌯˃̶᷄ ﹏ ˂̶᷄⌯)ﾟ
This choice doesn't really matter as far as her friendship goes, but no one should be subjected to Pop. Plus, Clank takes her skydiving, so that's cool.
Turn to Miriam, your forever bestie who always has your back. instead of Turn to Colonel Sanders, hunk of hunks, in your time of need.
You'll slightly irritate the Colonel, but it doesn't really hurt your chances and Miriam totally threatens to destroy a thicc witch.
Chapter 5:
Make up a fake ingredient instead of Tell her the ingredient Colonel Sanders told you
Telling her the secret ingredient doesn't automatically kill getting the true end, but it doesn't do you any good either, and telling her it's eye of newt is more thematically appropriate anyway.
Chapter 6:
Demand that they stop wasting everyone's time. instead of Step up and tell them, "You're on!"
Miriam will feed you tiny grilled cheese if you pick this! For real, pick this option!
Chapter 8
If everything has gone right, when you talk to Miriam in your dorm room you will get the result Miriam offers to support you no matter what you do. instead of Miriam tells you to move on from this whole Colonel Sanders "obsession" and focus on school.
That's all there is to it! Feel free to consult another guide about how to get the different endings with the Colonel or whatever, but as long as you pick these options every time you'll stay tight with Miriam, and in the long run isn't that what really matters.
