Getting To Central Hall

From Gryffindor Dormitory

straight down the corridor and down the spiral stairs to the 1st landing

turn right, down the corridor and into the grand staircase

go up to the 2nd landing

turn left, go down the corridor, and down the spiral steps

from here, it's a direct shot down spiral stairs, outside and across a bridgeyou are now standing in a landing in Central Hall

to get to the fountain from here, just go down stairs until you see it

From Slythrin Dormitory

immediately turn to the right, go up all the stairs

go through the doors, across the bridge, and through those doorsyou are now standing in Central Hall

to get to the fountain from here, just go down all stairs until you get to it

From Hufflepuff Dormitory

follow the hall and go up the spiral stairs

go slightly to the right onto the grand staircase, and up to the 4th landing up

go left, across the corridor and down the spiral staircase

from here it's a direct line through the doors, across the bridge, through more doors you are now standing on a landing in Central Hall

to get to the fountain from here, just go down all stairs until you hit it

from Ravenclaw Dormitory

all the way down the spiral stairs

honestly that's it, just go down until you can't any more and out the doors, across the bridge, through the doorsyou are now standing on a landing in Central Hall

to get to the fountain from here, just go down all stairs until you hit it

Direct From Central Hall

i'll add screenshots to this later but the ones i already took disappeared so hopefully the words are clear enough to get people by until i fix that

the Library is right in front of you once you're down all those stairs, easy to spot because it's all wood in a room of stone

Greenhouse is also easy to spot and get to, it's the huge green double doors to the right

Bell Tower go towards the Greenhouse doors but go left right in front of them and it's a direct shot out to the bell tower

the Bell Tower is where you meet Sebastian or Natty to go to Hogsmeade, and is the easiest route to go through to get to Hogsmeade, the flying yard and Beasts class

Potions Class do towards the double doors on the left, turn left without actually going through them, the classroom's to the slight left once you go through the door

Transfiguration Courtyard is through the large double doors to the left

through the Transfiguration Courtyard you can get to Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower, the Transfiguration Classroom and the North Hall

Divination Classroom is gonna make you back track back up all those stairs until you're back at the landing with the huge double doors, then go left and up the spiral staircase

Not So Direct From Central Hall

you can get to anywhere from central hall, so these are the places that don't branch directly off of Central Hall

Note: this is not always the most direct route (for example, Hufflepuffs will literally retrace their steps if they go to from their Dormitory to Central Hall first)

Reception Hall

go up the center staircase, up one of the staircases on either side, and up the next center staircase

go up the forward staircase on the right and up the spiral staircase

through the door, across the bridge, and through the next door

up the spiral staircase to the first landing and across the corridor

downstairs to the 3rd landing down

up the stairs to the very slight left you are now in the Reception Hall

facing the hourglasses, the great hall is through the doors to your right, the Entrance Hall is through the doors to your left

Defense Against The Dark Arts Tower

to get here from central hall, just go through the big brown double doors and then straight ahead through the small double doors

Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom is straight up the stairs ahead of you, up the stairs to the left, then go right and up those stairs, the classroom's right there at the top of the stairs

Professor Fig's Classroom, just go right once you go in, on the other side of the wall right there is the staircase, go up until you get to the second floor, the classroom is the only door on the right when you follow the hall

Charms Classroom go all the way up half-staircases on the far right when you come inside, until there aren't any more, the classroom's right there by the stairs

Astronomy Classroom/Tower at the top of the half-staircases, go straight past the statue and down the corridor, up the stairs to the right, and just keep going up. you'll get to the classroom first, but go further up and there's the observation deck
