Step 1-Cars
Hello Everyone, this is Etripsy being the best racist guide.
Picking the right car is always an important choice, this is why you must pick a car or cars which can handle everything, from riding along the beach, to riding in a muddy swamp. There are good cars for everything, for example there will be good cars for speed, and acceleration, while there will also be good cars for off-road, and braking. It's always important too listen to forza's "recommended cars" list when beginning a race. Although sometimes this might not be accurate and it is better to wing it. Another thing that can be very important is terrain, if your facing a muddy, rainy drive, you wont want a car that'll have no traction, and for a drag race you don't want a slow car with low acceleration, pick a fast car with a good start and fast acceleration. If you get a new car that alright, if you have the money and you know that you're going to use the car you should always tune and upgrade the car. I would highly recommend not tuning until you've watched guides on how to get a tune perfectly how you want it. Remember that half the battle is intimidation, if you can intimidate your opponent with a cool car, and a nice paint job you've almost won the race (i'm just joking with the last one, kinda) This is all I have for now. Read the other parts of the guide.
What the video below for more helpful tips from a trusted Forza content creator.
2-Practice
When you get a new car allways try it out a bit, unless it's awful, then don't use it. Just please man, for the love of god, don't use a car for the first time in a race. You will lose and it will be embarrassing. When you start in the game play around with the settings and controls, make sure they're too your liking. When you play make sure to not hit anything since if you hit things online it's slow you. But the most important thing is to have fun.
3-Mastering The Courses
To be good at the game you have to memorize the courses, you won't be the best when you first start, and that's OK, it takes people hundred of hours to flawlessly do courses, and you don't have to do that but If you want to be better just practice. Play the course, remember the name, follow the line that it tell you too go and slow down when it tell you to go down, when you've got that in the bag, freestyle, put your own spin say "NAHHH IMA DO MY OWN THING" and do you own thing. You've got this, trust, practice, and be competitive out there.
4- Be Nice
When racing against someone, even if they can't hear you, and you can't hear them just know that there's a person behind that screen, and they're gonna get angry if you intentionally try to run them into a wall. Be nice, accept the ToS, and don't say mean things on your car.
