Introduction

Welcome to our amazing Final Fantasy III guide!

Only first/easiest appearance of Monsters will be listed in the guide; repeats might be mentioned but only for rare encounters.

The following achievements are missable:

Field Research- Professional - Completed 100% of the Bestiary entries.

Legendary Treasure Hunter - Collected treasure from 100% of the chests.

Item Detector - Obtained all hidden items.

Adventurous Wayfarer - Traveled to all the map locations.

Also there's a two missable hidden items at Saronia.

Hold Backspace to run.

Press Q to auto-play during battles.

Press Q to open the map and TAB to switch between locations. Chest progress can be also checked here.

Bestiary progress can be only checked from main menu: Extras → Bestiary.

There's two type of collectibles in this game:

Chests: referenced with []

Hidden Items: referenced with {}

Try to stick to a single job with one of the characters until reaching Job level 99 (White Mage for example) for the 'Management Laborer' achievement.

There's also an achievement for reaching level 50 with all characters, but that will probably come through natural progression.

Recommendations:

Have a healer in your party at all times. Our personal recommendation is going with the White Mage and then switch to the Devout.

Altar Cave - B3

Once you gain control over your character, head north and open both chests for Leather Shield and Potion. [2/367]

Continue north and interact with the rock to unlock the path.

After the scene, head east and open the chest for another Leather Shield. [3/367]

Go and up the stairs.

Altar Cave - B2

Head a bit north and then west to find a chest. Open it for Antarctic Wind. [4/367]

Go back east, a bit north, and then all the way east for another chest. Open it for Potion. [5/367]

Backtrack to the middle and continue north and through a narrow passage.

You'll reach a split. Open the chest first for a Potion. [6/367]

Now go east to find a healing spring and a chest.

Interact with the spring to heal up and open the chest for Antarctic Wind. [7/367]

Backtrack to the split and head west this time.

Continue north and through the door.

Wind Crystal

First and easiest boss fight. Since you can't use magic just yet, simply auto-attack or use Antarctic Winds to damage the boss and heal with potions whenever required.

After the battle, go north and interact with the crystal.

Hope of the Wind Received power from the Wind Crystal.

Now step on the warp pad just behind the crystal and leave the dungeon.

Overworld

Feel free to assign Jobs right away. I went with a Warrior, a Monk, a White Mage, and a Black Mage. You can change your jobs whenever you want.

Re-enter the cave to collect the missing chests.

Altar Cave - B1

Go south from the entrance and then head east whenever you can. Go all the way east to find a secret passage.

Open both chests at the end for 1000 Gil and 1000 Gil. [9/367]

Backtrack west and then head south and down the stairs.

Altar Cave - B21

Follow the linear path west and then head north to find the last five chests. Don't fall through the hole unless you want the replay the prologue...

Top chest: Sleep [10/367]

Leftmost chest: Longsword [11/367]

Chest under the leftmost: Nunchaku [12/367]

Rightmost chest: Longsword [13/367]

Bottom chest: Bronze Bracers [14/367]

We should be done with collectibles for this dungeon. Check your progress pressing Q and then TAB.

Make your way back to the overworld.

From the cave, go south and enter the first town you see.

Head west from the entrance and enter the house.

Note: You can heal and revive KO'd members by interacting with the shrines on the sides.

Go north and through the door.

Speak to the Elder.

Leave the house.

Optional: Talk to the wizard and give him a Potion. You'll receive an Echo Herbs.

Enter the Inn.

Head upstairs and interact with the second jar for a Potion. {1/60}

Head back down and go through the door next to reception.

Interact with the top jar for a Potion. {2/60}

Leave the Inn.

Go east past the trees through an hidden passage and down the well.

You'll find three chests here. Open all for Potion, Potion, and Potion. [17/367]

Now go to the eastern portion of the town and between some trees to find a hidden item at the end. Interact with the marked spot for Potion. {3/60}

Head to the northeast portion of the town and then follow the path west to an isolated house. Warning: There's random encounters again Goblins in this area.

From the house, go south through a small path and interact with the marked spot for a Potion. {4/60}

Enter the house.

Interact with the last jar of the bottom row for an Antidote. {5/60}

Now interact with the second jar from the second row for an Antidote. {6/60}

Interact with the third candle to open a secret passage.

Go through the secret passage and up the stairs.

You'll find five chests. Open all for Longsword, Leather Armor, Cure, Dagger, Leather Armor. [22/367]

Don't forget to give the Cure spell to your White Mage.

You should have 8/8 chests and 6/6 items.

Leave the town.

Overworld

Go south from Ur to find another town.

Kazus

You can't purchase anything from the shops on your first visit.

Follow the path and head west at the split.

Interact with the grass for Staff. {7/60}

Go back to the split and head north this time.

Interact with the two marked spots for Zeus's Wrath and Mythril Helm. {9/60}

Enter the Inn and go to reception.

From here, go east to pass through the wall, then west to go through the upper wall.

Interact with the shelf for Potion. {10/60}

Talk to Cid between the left shelf and reception.

Leave the Inn and enter the house just above.

Interact with the right jar on the upper row for a Potion. {11/60}

That's all 5/5 hidden items for this town.

Exit the house and the town.

Overworld

Enter the small desert adjacent to Kazus.

Cid's Airship

Go south and then east to reach the airship controls. Interact to return to the overworld in an airship!

Overworld

Fly to the west and land near the castle.

Enter the castle.

Castle Sasune

Head north and enter the west tower.

Open both chests for Holy Arrow and Hi-Potion. [24/367]

Continue up the stairs.

Castle Sasune - Western Tower 4F

Feel free to update your bestiary before interacting with the top chest.

Once ready, interact with the top chest for Monsters! (Griffon) → Wightslayer. [25/367]

Exit the tower.

Castle Sasune

Enter the east tower.

Castle Sasune - Eastern Tower 1F

Go up to 3F. There's no random encounters here.

Castle Sasune - Eastern Tower 3F

Open both chests for Eye Drops and Antidote. [27/367]

Continue upstairs to find three more chests. Open all for Phoenix Down, Wooden Arrow, and Bow. [30/367]

Feel free to rest at the bed.

Exit the tower.

Castle Sasune

Enter the castle and head to 2F.

Castle Sasune - 2F

From the stairs, head west, then north, then west, then south for a hidden path.

Go through the hidden path and upstairs.

Castle Sasune - 3F

Head south and then west to find two chests. Open both for Leather Shield and Blizzard. [32/367]

Give the Blizzard spell to your Black Mage.

Head to the middle area and go all the way north through a hidden passage.

Open the chest for Tonfa. [33/367]

Make your way back to 2F.

Castle Sasune - 2F

Go north and take the stairs leading down.

Castle Sasune - 1F

Open both chests for 1000 Gil and 1000 Gil. [35/367]

That should be all we can get here for now. 13/13 chests and 0/1 items.

Exit to the overworld.

Overworld

Get into the airship and go north to a cavern. Head inside.

Revenant is a quite rare encounter.

From the entrance, head south until a split.

Continue south for a chest containing a Potion. [36/367]

Backtrack to the split and east this time.

You'll reach another split. Go north for a chest with Cure. [37/367]

Rookie Treasure Hunter Collected treasure from 10% of the chests.

Note: Winning an extra battle may be required for the achievement to unlock.

Head south to the split, then follow the east path until the stairs. Go down.

Sealed Cave - B2

Open the southeastern chest for 500 Gil. [38/367]

Now head northeast and interact with the pile of bones to open a hidden passage.

Go through the right passage.

Talk to Sara so she joins your party (she won't actually appear in battles, this is just cosmetic for plot purposes).

Continue downstairs.

Sealed Cave - B3

Go south and then at the split, continue south.

Open the chest for Antarctic Wind. [39/367]

Backtrack to the split and go along the north path.

Open the chest on the way for Eye Drops. [40/367]

That's all the chests for this location.

Continue through the path and heal up + quick save before entering the room with the boss.

Approach to Djinn for a boss fight...

Use the blizzard spell you picked up earlier and attack with the others and the boss should be down within a few turns.

After the battle, a scene will occur.

You'll be teleported back to Castle Sasune and Sara will leave the party.

Once at the throne room, talk to King Sasune to receive the Key Item: Canoe.

This location is fully completed now.

Go back to the Overworld.

Overworld

Make your way back to the Sealed Cave and board the airship.

Go with the airship to Kazus.

Kazus

As soon as you enter the town, Cid joins the party.

Shops are now open!

Enter the cave at the north of the town.

Mythril Mines - B1

Most enemies from the Sealed cave show up here, with the exception of Revenant.

Head east and then north.

Interact with the button and then go through the secret passage.

Mythril Mines - B2

Go through the linear path to find two chests at the end. Open both for Mythril Sword and Mythril Sword. [42/367]

And that is, leave the dungeon.

Kazus

Enter the northmost house and talk to the blacksmith.

Takka will attach an iron plow to the airship so we can now remove the rock west of Kazus.

Leave Kazus.

Overworld

Board the airship and ram through the valley west of Kazus.

Crushing Force Smashed the boulder and cleared the path.

Path west is now open.

Cid will leave your party as soon as you enter the town for the first time.

Once done with your purchases, enter the house to the right of the Inn.

Enter the bedroom to the left and go through the hidden passage near the bookshelf.

Follow the hidden passage to a jar. Interact with the jar for a Gold Needle. {12/60}

Leave the hidden passage and the bedroom and go north towards the fireplace.

Interact with the jar to the left of the fireplace for a Mallet. {13/60}

Leave the house.

Now head to the northeastern part of the town take the stairs down the water.

Follow the path through the waterfall which deals 1HP damage to your party members, and continue all the way through until reaching a small piece of land.

Interact with the marked spot for an Elixir, but DON'T USE it on yourself. {14/60}

Enter the northwestern house just above the armor shop.

Interact with Mrs. Cid and choose the Elixir.

Mrs. Cid is now cured!

Talk to Cid so he moves away from the left torch.

Interact with the torch to open an hidden passage.

Go through the passage to a secret room with eight chests.

Left side: Potion, Great Bow, Gnomish Bread, and Gnomish Bread. [46/367]

Right side: Iron Arrow, Blind, Gold Needle, and Phoenix Down. [50/367]

After opening all, go down the west stairs and follow the path until another hidden passage.

You'll find four more chests in a side secret room. Open all for Potion, Hi-Potion, Gold Needle, and Phoenix Down. [54/367]

And that should be all for this town. 12/12 chests and 3/3 items.

Go back to the overworld.

Dragon's Peak And Tozus

Overworld

Enter the mountain just south of Caanan.

Dragon's Peak

Go north though the stairs until reaching a split.

Head south to find a chest containing Gold Needle. [55/367]

Backtrack to the split and head north.

You'll reach another split. Go north again to find a chest with the spell Aero. [56/367]

Go back to the split and head all the way west for a chest with Gold Needle. [57/367]

Continue north to trigger a scene.

You'll be dragged and dropped on a new location.

Dragon's Aerie

Interact with the northeastern bush to trigger another cutscene.

You'll automatically get into a battle against Bahamut... Holy sh*t.

All you have to do is flee, you ain't ready for this battle yet.

After fleeing, you'll watch yet another scene and receive the Mini spell from Desch, then he'll join the party!

Overworld

Back at the overworld but in a different location, enter the donut-like forest just to your right.

Healing Copse

You can heal, revive, or cure abnormal status by interacting with the springs at this location.

Leave once ready.

Overworld

Give the Mini spell you received earlier to your White Mage.

Now walk south from Healing Copse to find a gap on the bottom forest. Open menu and cast Mini on all your characters, then enter the gap.

Tozus

Follow the linear path until reaching the town.

Only houses with doors can be entered.

Since there's a mini-only dungeon incoming, you might want to turn all your party members into mages and put them in the back row:

Jobs → Character → Any kind of Mage.

Formation → Character → D key to move them to the back row.After the previous step, rest at the Inn to recharge MP and give your mages some equipment and spells. You can purchase spells at the Magic Shop.

Once done with your purchases, enter the second house from top the bottom at the northwestern area.

Interact with both sides of the two large bookcases to find: Cura, Fire Staff, Vest, and Mythril Bracers. {18/60}

Now talk to the person in sick in bed and give them an antidote.

They'll open a path to another room.

Follow the path and down the stairs.

Open both chests for Mythril bracers and Mythril Rod. [59/367]

Go downstairs.

Tozus Tunnel - B2

Follow the west path until the next floor.

Tozus Tunnel - B1

Continue left until finding the exit. Exit the location.

Overworld

Back at the overworld, unshrink your characters and rollback all changes to before the previous dungeon.

Enter the north cave.

Viking's Cove, Nepto Temple

Follow the east path and as soon as you reach a semi-open area, head east.

Go through the hidden passage to find a chest containing 300 Gil. [60/367]

Shops can be found at the room by the stairs.

Change all your character jobs to mages again. You'll need mages to for the next dungeon.

Also rest at the Inn to fully refill MP.

Once ready, go up the stairs.

Viking's Cove - B1

Head west and enter the secret passage.

Follow the passage and go down the stairs.

Viking's Cove - B2

Open both chests here for 300 Gil and 300 Gil respectively. [62/367]

Note: There's a revival spring at the east of this room.

Head back up.

Viking's Cove - B1

Go back through the hidden passage and past the stairs.

There's another passage just right of the stairs, go inside and through the right split.

Open all three chests for Blizzara, Fira, and Thundara. [65/367]

Give those powerful spells to your main Black Mage.

Leave the passage and go east, then all the way north and through the stairs to exit the dungeon.

Overworld

MISSABLE BESTIARY ENTRY: Board the ship and go north to get a forced encounter against...

Now dock the ship at the east coast and go towards the north shrine.

Head inside.

Nepto Temple

Cast Mini on all your party and then interact with the dragon head.

Go back up the stairs.

Head through the right hole.

Poison Bat is kinda rare and only showed up for me at this floor.

Open the chest for Serpent Sword. [68/367]

Go through the right hole.

Nepto Temple - B3

Follow the linear path until the boss.

Heal up and quick-save before attempting the fight.

Once ready, interact with the boss.

After winning, you'll receive the Key Item: Nepto Eye.

Backtrack to the temple entrance.

Interact with the dragon and choose: Nepto Eye.

You'll receive the Key Item: Fang of Water.

That's all the items for this location.

Unshrink and rollback job/formation changes, then exit the shrine.

Inner Sea, Gulgan Gulch, And Tower Of Owen

Overworld

Board the ship and hunt for the following bestiary entries around the Nepto Temple area:

Once done, head west until reaching earth and dock near the forest.

Enter the forest for a missable location.

Living Woods

Just entering the place is enough for it to count. Leave once you're done.

Overworld

Now head all the way north and dock your ship near the tower.

Don't go inside, instead, make your way to the west area to find a cavern.

Speak to the man in the middle of the room to receive the Toad spell. {19/60}

Give the Toad spell to your White Mage.

Now go east past the bridge and climb the waterfall.

Take the stairs up the grassy area and interact with the marked spot for a Black Garb. {38/60}

Head to the opposite side and interact with both tiles, the one marked in the screenshot and the one just above it for Black Cowl and Thief Gloves. {40/60}

Go east and approach the old men. You get into a forced-battle against 8 Goblins.

Head west until you reach some kind of intersection. Go south and stand on the this location:

From Amur, head south, paddle through the small river, and continue all the way south until the desert area.

Farm the Vulcan encounter here.

This boss is highly resistant to magic, so avoid casting magic against him at all costs.

Auto-attacking with three party members while healing with the other does wonders. You can try switching to physical-based jobs before the battle if the boss is giving you troubles.

After winning, you'll get the key to unchain the airship. Hurrah!

Once inside, interact with the right candle to open a secret passage towards a chest.

Board the ship and then head southwest from this location to reach the Saronia Kingdom.

Fly over the castle of Saronia to trigger a scene (north from the screenshot).

Castle Saronia

Trivia: this location will be named 'Castle Saronia -' the first time you get here.

Leave the castle through the south exit.

Overworld - Saronia Area

Head southwest and enter the town.

Southwestern Saronia

Head to the building at the northeastern part of the town.

Talk to the old man and then enter the tavern.

Approach the prince to trigger a forced-battle against four Gold Knights.

Overworld - Saronia Area

It's recommended to bring a pair of Dragoons for the next boss. You should already have enough equipment for two.

Once ready, enter Saronia Castle.

Head north to the next screen.

Talk to the guards to trigger a scene.

This boss can be extremely easy or extremely annoying, depending of what Jobs you bring to the fight.

If you brought two dragoons, the battle will last just a few turns. Use Jump with your dragons while healing with your White Mage and enjoy the show. The battle literally lasted me 3 jumps since all were doing over 2000 damage.

If you decide to take another approach, then be aware that Garuda's Lightning attack can take 300-400 HP off your entire party...

After the battle and a scene, you'll be free to explore the castle. Also Alus leaves the party.

From the room where you regain control. go west and push towards the wall to find a hidden passage.

Follow the path south to find twelve chests.

First column: Ice Staff, Rusty Mail, and Rune Bow. [191/367]

Go a bit north around the mountains and land near the north cave.

Head inside.

Unei's Shrine

Go all the way north and enter the small bedroom from the left side.

Interact with Unei and use Noah's Lute to trigger a scene.

Anyway, once you're done with your purchases, head to northmost house of the town and push against the threes on the right side to reveal a secret passage.

Go through the passage and once you reach the waterfall, head immediately south.

Exit the continent: north x3, east, south, east (from the top), south x3, west x2, south x2, north (from left side), west, north x3, and west x2.

Now go northwest from this place to reach a path full of statues. Disembark near this location.

Go all the way north to destroy the four sets of statues, then board the Invincible again.

This boss consists of two attacks: physical attacks and Zantetsuken, both fairly devastating.

My party was conformed by two dragons (who did the most damage), a White Mage (who did all the healing; basically cast Curaja, Curaga, and Cura all turns), and a Geomancer which wasn't needed at all. It still was an easy fight for my level 41 party, so if you have three half-decent attackers, you should be good.

After winning, you'll receive the summon magic 'Catastro'!

Leave the dungeon.

Overworld

Find and board the Invincible, then make your way back to the Floating continent (southwestern of the current map).

Once there, go to the western area, then northwest from the waterfall and boost to the other side.

After boosting, disembark immediately. Don't turn around or you'll have to boost to this place again.

Paddle your way to the shadow in the lake to enter a dungeon.

Lake Dohr - B1

This boss isn't as powerful as we remember. It does some unimpressive physical damage and casts Mega Flare which is even weaker than the group spells from the two previous bosses. Basically abuse Wind-based spells such as Aeroga and heal you party when needed, and that is. There's not much else to add.

After winning, you'll be rewarded with the summon magic 'Bahamur'!

You can now teach all summons to one of your party members to unlock:

Summon Master Learned all summon magic.

Re-enter the cave and make your way to the other exit. Teleporting here won't work as you'll get warped to the location where the battle took place.

From the entrance, go south and through the left bridge to reach a split, then go all the way south to find a door. Go through the door.

Head north, then west, then south at the first split you see. Open the chest for 20000 Gil. [301/367]

Go north back to the split, then west, then south, then all the way east for another chest. Open it for 20000 more Gil. [302/367]

Head down the stairs.

Doga's Grotto - B2

Go north all the way to the second split, then head west and go through the door.

Open all three chests here for Shining Curtain x3. [305/367]

Exit the room and head all the way east to a door. Go inside.

Open the final chest of this dungeon for yet another Shining Curtain. [306/367]

Head down the stairs.

Follow the linear path to reach a door.

Before going inside, make sure that you have 6/6 chests, 0/2 items, and all bestiary entries.

Once confirmed, go through the door.

Two weak bosses actually. See this battle as if you were fighting against a Black and a White Mages, respectively. Doga most powerful attack is Flare while Unei's is Holy, both dealing around 1k damage to a single party member... but there's not much else besides that. At this point my Dragoon was already dealing over 2k damage and my summoner could even go over 3k with the help of Bahamut, so as you can guess, the battles didn't last long.

One thing, though: Make sure to keep your party health high as there's no breaks between the fights.

After winning, a sad scene will play and you'll receive the following two Key Items: Eureka and Syrcus keys!

Verify that you have all collectibles and bestiary entries, then leave the dungeon by any means.

Chocobo Woods

Overworld

Our next objective will be visiting all Chocobo Woods in the game as they're required for the 'Adventurous Wayfarer' achievement. Entering and exiting should be more than enough for them to count.

I don't know if it was just me but Aeon seems to be extremely rare and only showed up on the plains area. If you have issues finding it, save that entry for the small chunk between the Ancient's Cave and the next dungeon. I'll remind you when the time comes.

Some fairly powerful enemies here.

King Behemoth has lots of HP and casts Meteor when low on health.

Greater Demons can summon Iron Claws.

Bone Dragon absorb absorb-based attacks, but are weak to Holy and healing spells (my Curaja was dealing over 9k damage, LOL).

Go all the way north around the path, then at the split, head east for a chest. Open it for Elixir. [307/367]

Now head west and go through the door.

Walk until the first split, then head north for two chests. Open both for Crystal Shield and Lilith's Kiss. [309/367]

Backtrack to the entrance and head east until you reach a second split. Go north for a chest containing Crystal Mail. [310/367]

Return to the split and continue east to spot a chest near the main path. Open it for Black Musk. [311/367]

Continue east and then go all the way north for a chest. Open it for Crystal Gloves. [312/367]

Go a little south and then head right until the next split.

Once there, go all the way south past the 4-way split to find three chests. Open all for Break Blade, Phoenix Down, and Omnirod. [315/367]

Head north to the 4-way split and then go west for a chest containing Crystal Helm. [316/367]

Now go all the way east and open the chest for Dual Haken. [317/367]

Backtrack to the 4-way split and head north.

Once at the top of the screen, go east and follow the linear path until reaching a split.

You'll spot a chest at the distance. Make your way there and open it for a Phoenix Down. [318/367]

From the chest, go east, then north, then east again to find one more chest. Open it for Protect Ring. [319/367]

Now go a little west, then south along the eastern wall, then follow the east path until a door. Head inside.

Go north to find a room with two chests on the sides. Open both for Holy Lance and Hellish Claws. [321/367]

That's all the chests for this location. Make sure you have 15/15 and then head out through the north door.

Overworld

If you were unlucky with finding the Aeon outside the entrance, you can try here by walking left and right on the non-forest area. It's a pretty small spot, but seems to work for some people.

Once ready, head inside the Crystal Tower.

This boss is kinda resistant to damage and can change its weakness as will with Barrier Shift (just like Hein), but there nothing much to it. It's just another unimpressive boss. I personally set the White Mage to heal while my other three party members just attacked. Pretty boring battle imho.

Eureka, The Forbidden Land - B6

From the entrance, go east and follow the linear path to a sword in a stone.

Heal up and quick-save, then interact with the sword to trigger a boss fight.

After defeating the boss, you'll be rewarded with the Excalibur! {58/60}

Make your way back to the entrance and head west through several invisible, yet linear paths.

Eureka, The Forbidden Land - B7

Lastly, you'll reach the last fork with two weapons on each side.

As always, heal up and quick-save, then interact with the left weapon.

This boss features some nasty high-level spells, which can deal up to 2k damage to a single party member. These include Holy, Flare, and Curaga. There's no many tips to give you here besides the usual ones: keep your team healed at all times and attack with all you have!

You'll be rewarded with the Elder Staff upon winning, as well as the Ninja and Sage jobs! {59/60}

Okay. Ninja is such an amazing job. My undisputed favorite. At this point I switched both my attackers to Ninjas since the difference between them is abysmal.

You probably won't have to heal since the bosses of this dungeon will heal you after each battle, and the next weapon is just next to the previous one. Quick-saving is still a good idea, though.

Also switching to Ninja is great idea. Really. Trust me.

Go all the way west and interact with a third sage for my favorite shop.

Go north until hitting a wall, then east through a crack, then east again through another crack.

Go to the southernmost part of the room and take the stairs leading up.

Crystal Tower - 7F

Go through the middle door.

After winning, interact with the Dark Crystal to trigger a scene.

Feel free to interact with the Dark Crystal again to fully heal.

Make your way back to the HUB.

World of Darkness - HUB

Since we're done with the northwest area, it's time to conquer the lower section.

Head southwest and take the stairs leading down.

World of Darkness - Southwest

Head all the way south to reach a 'dead end' which is actually a hidden passage, then all the way west, then south and finally east for a chest. Open it for Monsters! (Xande's Clone) → Ribbon. [365/367]

Go back west, then north until the split, then east until you can go south, then south.

Head up the stairs.

Dark Water Crystal

Heal up and quick-save, then approach the crystal.

Feel free to interact with the Dark Crystal again to fully heal.

All this boss does is physical attacks. They're kinda strong, but if you keep healing your party all turns, it should never take any ally down...

After winning, interact with the Dark Crystal to trigger a scene.

Feel free to interact with the Dark Crystal again to fully heal.

Make your way back to the HUB (note that there's another shortcut near the southwest exit).

Go south and then east to a split.

Once there, head all the way north, then all the way east to find a hidden passage with a chest. Open it for Monsters! (Xande's Clone) → Ribbon. [367/367]

Legendary Treasure Hunter Collected treasure from 100% of the chests.

Exit the secret passage and immediately follow the path south until reaching a split.

From here, go all the way east and up the stairs.

Dark Earth Crystal

Heal up and quick-save, then approach the crystal.

This boss is a little harder than our previous encounters for the sole reason that it usually casts Meteor, which deals massive amounts of damage to the whole party (1.5k to my party at least), but that's nothing that a good Curaga/Curaja can't fix, right?

After winning, interact with the Dark Crystal to trigger a scene.

Feel free to interact with the Dark Crystal again to fully heal.

Make your way back to the HUB.

Finally... time to finish what we've started.

Go through the middle door.

World of Darkness

Hydra and Twin Dragon show up at this place.

Head a few steps north, then east through a hidden path.

From here, go north, then east, then north at the next split, then north again at the subsequent split to reach a stairs leading up.

Make completely sure that you have all but 1 creature left in your bestiary, then head up.

World of Darkness - Final Location

Heal up and quick-save, then go all the way north and interact with the Cloud of Darkness to trigger a scene.

Well, this battle is all yours. I won't recommend you anything besides using all the Shurikens you have been saving until now... because you did, right??? They should deal between 6000 and 9999 damage.
