Introduction
there are three types of tyres from the finish manufacturer nokian tyres, two of them differ a lot from the traditional lug design. The types are Ground King, Tractor King and TRI 2.
(The names are displayed on the left side information screen's last row with the tyre icon)
Explanation
Ground King is a hybrid design between grip on unpaved surfaces and paved surfaces with residues of the lug design on the sides and a surface better suited for paved ways in the middle.
Tractor King is Nokian's take on the traditional lug design with double lugs to enhance traction on unpaved surfaces.
TRI 2 is the choice defined as »communal« in the sub-selection menu. It is a tyre for communal tasks and excels in producing traction on paved surfaces.
Grip Simulation Ingame?
sadly i don't know, if the different traction is simulated ingame
(but i doubt they are, since my communal tyres slipped a lot on snow)
