Patch - pre-alpha 0.1.008

Hello, it's a me again with another early guide!

Many people who try out Draconia for the first time have little struggles with leveling, as it requires you to collect materials from the right spots. To help out a little, I thought I'll drop a little guide about what you can mine and collect for levels and more, where to find it and what to keep in mind!

How to craft

A simple explanation of how the crafting works in Draconia.

Materials & where to find them

A list of all available materials and a description of the spawnpounts.

Craftables and their purposes

All Craftables, what you craft them for and of course the recipes!

Starting up with the most important info, these things are NOT collectable:

How To Craft

You may remember this part from my Beginners Guide. Crafting in itself is so simple that I'll keep this section in both guides for a while.

These 2 screenshots explain the system quite well. With your materials gathered and in your inventory, you switch to the crafting menu and select your desired item. Some have 2 different recipes like the Reinforced Stash II, so make sure you pick the right recipe to craft.

With the crafting button at the bottom ready to go and clicked, you'll have to wait a few seconds for the process to finish. You see how easy it is! But keep in mind that we're on pre-Alpha territory here, guide updates are ensured. :)

Draconia offers a small about of gather able materials like different metals or crystals. Some can be found in specific areas, some basically everywhere.

This list will become longer with time while the development goes on.

MineralsRock Deposits

Drop: Rocks, rarely Azulite Fragments

You can find these in many areas like the around the twin lakes near the spawn village and the "first cave".

Vitrolum Ore

Drop: Vitrolum, Rocks

Vitrolum can be found in the boneyard and is farely rare. Yet the ore grants a lot of materials.

MetalsCyprin Ore

Drop: Cyprin

This metal can be found near the upper twin lake and on the island with the great rock formation.

Gentin Ore

Drop: Gentin

On the cliff side of the upper twin lake is a single Gentin Ore.

Aurin Ore

Drop: Aurin

Similar to the Gentin Ore, this golden material has one minable spot at the shore of the upper twin lake.

Crystals & GemsViridite

Drop: Viridite Fragments, rarely Crystals

There are 2 deposits of this bright green crystal in the bone yard.

Azulite

Drop: Azulite Fragments, rarely Crystals

The great cave between the spawn and the bamboo forest holds one spot, the small canyon near by hides another. Multiple minable deposits of Azulite can be found a little further, in the bamboo forest.

OtherBonepiles

Drop: Femur, Ribbones, Vertebrae, Ancient Tooth

Bonepiles can be found in various areas, most commonly in the boneyard of course.

Dirtpile

Drop: Soil

These can be found all around the map, mostly near the spawn village.

Sandpile

Drop: Mytelia, Bivania, Vermentia, rarely Pearls

Found along the coasts of Draconia. One of the first spots to find some is all around the island with the great rock formation and serve as the deposit for our first quest items to collect!

Aahnunka

Drop: Aahnunka

These grow in the forest north-west of the boneyard. Despite their odd appearance, they are healthy!

The game currently offers some helpful recipes and the ability to make 4 still useless stashes. You can pose well with everything for fancy screenshots though. ;)

To craft items, simply have the materials you need in your inventory and select your desired item in the crafting menu. To place things down, dropping them out of your inventory will do the trick for now.

Crystals and FragmentsAzulite - Viridite - Kitrinite - Porphurite

25 Fragments - 1 Crystal

1 Crystal - 20 to 25 Fragments

These 2 recipes work with every type of crystal.

Stashes

Basic Stash

20 Femur and 50 Soil

Reinforced Stash I

10 Azulite Crystals and 50 Soil or

20 Femur and 50 Stones

Reinforced Stash II

10 Azulite Crystals and 50 Stones or

10 Azulite Crystals, 50 Soil and 20 Femur

Reinforced Stash III

10 Azulite Crystals, 20 Femur and 50 Stones.

OtherAahnuka Slice

1 Aahnuka - 1 to 5 Slices

Bone Meal

20 Femur - 1 portion of Bone Meal

As you see, many materials are currently not used in crafting recipes. With the game getting more and more additions over time, more interesting and probably complex recipes will be added to the game and this guide.
