Pandoran Legends Clicker Heroes Startup Guide.

Tidbits To Start

Ascend, Ascend, Ascend.....
Hotkeys...Balance...Hero Souls...Style...

The biggest thing in clicker heroes is to know when will be the best time to ascend. Timing is everything if you want to speed up the process. The rule of thumb i use is for first ascension after you get Amenhotep's ascend skill and about a day of grinding after then to ascend. Also when it takes 10 to 20 min to level up a hero which shows you hit a virtual wall. Ascending is the single-most thing you need to do in order to progress, by gaining hero souls from primal bosses and spending them for ancients to boost your stats.

To quickly gain levels hotkeys are sure to save you a lot of time. 'Z' for x25 heroes, 'Ctrl' for 100 heroes, 'Shift' for x10 heroes.

Heroes levelled past 200 gets a x4 damage multplier every 25 levels and a x10 damage multiplier for 1000 levels. So the 'Z' key is my best friend to level the heroes every 25 levels for the multiplier. So i don't really bother with the single levels.

Three things to consider when boosting your stats is damage, gold, and hero souls. Each persons game is different and if you feel you are lacking in one of these three then go for it. Or you will be hitting walls sooner than later.

Hero souls are accumulated in four ways. By primal bosses, by rubies, by immortal clan bosses, and by mercenaries.

Primal bosses starts at level 100 and then a chance every 5 levels gradually increasing amount of souls for every level. Centurion bosses are bosses every 100 levels and are guaranteed to award hero souls.

Immortal damage are based on primal souls only, 1 damage for every soul gained from primal and centurion bosses.

Rubies are gained from the little creatures that pops up every now and then which resembles a fish, a bird. a quick ascension costs 50 rubies and it can be done in a day if you are diligent enough to get them.

When spending hero souls after an ascension or a quick ascension, its a quick note at the beginning to spend 1/3 of the total hero souls earned on ancients and keep the rest for damage bonus up until you reach level 1000 or until you get Morgulis.

This is how i do things in the game but hopefully you can use snippets here an there to add to your own play style. All games are different and playstyle from one person to another will vary.

After Ascension

After Ascension...

This may seem a bit pointless but I am putting this out there for the fact is after each ascension I can be 100 levels shy of my last point before ascension within the hour. And talk about the ancients that can boost the time frame between ascension.

Once you ascend,

1. Start by getting Treebeast, get him to level 75. Get all available power ups.

2. Depending on damage boost by ancients, get The Masked Samurai next to level 75. Get all available power ups.

3. The Great Forest Seer should be next to get to Midas. up until level 75 and get available power ups

4. King Midas will be the next goal. Get him to 75. Get available power ups.

5. Go back and get Betty Clicker to level 75 and get the power ups.

6. Amenhotep is next an go to level 50 and power ups. Amenhotep and Betty Clicker both will boost hero damage little further to get the next set of heroes.

7. Aphrodite should be next to level 50 and available power ups.

8. Grant, The General to level 75. half the power ups goes towards yet again more hero damage boost.

9. Then get Frostleaf to level 50 and available power ups. you will notice that after Frostleaf that there is a considerable gap between obtaining heroes.

From that scroll back up and start getting the rest starting from Cid, start getting all the other heroes up until you get to Frostleaf. Remember that holding the 'Z' key while doing so and use that to level every 25 levels and keep leveling up until you cant anymore by multiples of 25 and work on the next one. don't worry about upgrades yet until you are back to the bottom and you can use that button to buy all available hero upgrades in one swoop. By that time you should be around between levels 200 to 300 depending on the damage boost yet again. For more advanced players can skip a few steps for the same progression. All in all its about climbing as fast as possible with minimal effort. This is an example of an mid-early farming. Some will change depending of stats. Point is get the heavy hitter heroes out so the level progression can start. Use heroes as stepping stones to make it to the next hero. can always go back and level up lesser heroes to get the skills activated.

Idle and Active build.

Best to start as an idle build then go into farming and then to a hybrid build. Look into the Ancients tab to view the ancients and order of importance and why.

Idle build takes advantage of the idle status of the game which means idle is engaged after 60 seconds of not clicking on any monsters. Some ancients will boost stats like increased damage and gold production when idle is present. An idle build great to start since most of the game will be in idle for most of your game play.

Active build is very aggressive and focus on damage output mostly then gold production secondly. Active build is when you use the mouse in conjunction of using and taking advantage of the power ups provided. For those late in game is great for hybrid and to take advantage of best from both worlds.

Ancients Part 1

Ancients To Start....Ancients For Level Progression And Increased Farming Speed...

Its crucial to get proper ancients at certain times to boost stats considerably at the beginning. The build I use in the beginning was the idle build, which is very simple and let it go on its own. When you reach the higher levels, you may want to go into a hybrid build and get the benefits of both worlds. When possible to get the ancients i will list in priority and why.

When you pick an ancient, you can pick one of the four listed in game or spend hero souls for a re-roll for a chance to get what you want. keep it to a minimum when possible because each re-roll will increase cost.

1. Morgulis - By far my favorite ancient, for every level increased will always cost you 1 soul. and every soul spent he does 11% damage for every 1000 souls that's an extra 100% over the souls themselves. Morgulis is great for damage boost. This has no maximum levels.

2. Siyalatas - Another one for damage increase and the beginning for idle build. Siyalatas increase damage output when idle is present, which means no clicking on monsters for 60 seconds game will go into idle mode and this ancient boost kicks in. This has no maximum levels.

3. Atman - Increases the chance of primal bosses. Once you have damage boost going, its a good time to start diversifying the buffs. Atman is a good start of that since now we need to find ways to get more hero souls. This one has a maximum level of 25 which will give a total of 25% chance increase.

4. Libertas - Another effect when in idle which will boost gold production. higher you go heroes will get more and more expensive. Libertas can help that burden to get to few extra levels of heroes. This one has no maximum levels.

5. Mammon - this one has an overall gold increase idle or not. Gold boost is not as pronounced as Libertas is but can work together overall. All about getting the gold to get the heroes for the higher levels. This one has no maximum levels.

6. Solomon - Increases the amount of hero souls gained from primal bosses. We need the souls, Lol. this has no maximum levels.

7. Argaiv - This will start the damage increase on gilded heroes. by the time you get to him you should have a few gilded heroes to work with. This one has no maximum levels.

8. Dogcog - Reduces hero cost. makes them a bit cheaper to get and to level up. this one has a maximum level of 25

9. Dora - This will increase the amount of treasure chest spawn rate. This one has a maximum level of 50

After ancients gained from above and built up a little bit, then we can set ourselves up for more efficient farming of hero souls and quicker level progression. These 4 will help for leveling as quickly as possible.

1. Khrysos - Bonus gold to start after ascension. Basically get extra gold to quickly start leveling heroes right off the bat. with him you can skip few heroes and start on The Masked Samurai. This one has a maximum level of 10 for 100 million gold. For those who transcends, this ancient will be removed due to being ovperpowered.

2. Iris - It allows you to skip the lower levels and to start farming the hero souls. This one is easy to over level. I do not recommend to go past level 65 until the damage is high enough to start. For those who transcends, this ancient will be removed due to being ovperpowered.

3. Kumawakamaru - This one subtracts the monster required to beat to get to the next level. This one has a maximum level of 5 basically taking away half the monsters needed to progress.

4. Bubos - Reduces boss health to chew through them more quickly as well as help reach few levels higher per ascension. This one has a maximum level of 25 basically cutting total boss life by half except the immortals.

Ancients Part 2

Ancients For Active Build....

These will be the goals after ones above and now we can move into a hybrid build. There are 14 ancients left and i will break them down.

Ancients directly supporting power up abilities...

1. Chawedo - This ancient adds more time to the Clickstorm ability. Maximum level on this ancient is 30.

2. Berserker - This ancient adds more time to the Powersurge ablilty. Maximum level on this ancient is 30.

3. Energon - This ancient adds more time to the Metal Detector ability. Maximum level of this ancient is 30.

4. Kleptos - This ancient adds more time to the Golden Clicks ability. Maximum level of this ancient is 30.

5. Hecatoncheir - This ancient adds more time to the Super Clicks ability. Maximum level on this ancient is 30.

6. Sniperino - This ancients adds more time to the Lucky Strikes ability. Maximum level on this ancient is 30.

These ancients that extends the power up ability adds better possibility to power up order sequence and timing.

Ancients supporting power up ability stats...

1. Vaagur - Adds to the skill cooldowns. Maximum level on this ancient is 15.

2. Pluto - This ancient gives you more gold while Golden Clicks is activated. There is no maximum level for this ancient. For those who transcends, this ancient will be removed due to being ovperpowered.

3. Fragsworth - This ancients adds to the click damage. There is no maximum level for this ancient.

4. Thusia - This ancient adds treasure chest life when golden clicks is activated. This ancient has no maximum level. May seem counter productive but with golden clicks combined with pluto you will want to tay on a chest to get as much gold as possible. For those who transcends, this ancient will be removed due to being ovperpowered.

5. Baahl - This ancient adds more damage to critical clicks.

6. Juggernaught - this ancient adds damage increase per click "click combo." This ancient has no maximum level.

Misc boost...

1. Fortuna - This ancient adds a chance of gaining 10X gold. This ancients has a maximum level of 40.

2. Revolc - This ancient adds a chance of obtaining double rubies from pop up, err fish/bird/fruit? lol very hard to describe.

Gilded Heroes

When we think about increasing damage and pushing forward abit more, then its time to start thinking about gilding some heroes. But just getting gilds and have them randomly put on unlocked heroes just wont cut it.

After you pass level 100, you get a one time gild on a random hero every 10 levels you beat as HZE (Highest Zone Ever). All heroes also gets a new look after thier first gild. The meat and potatoes of the gild is the +50% damage increase bonus and is stackable.

Starting the gilded heroes

When you start to change the gilds (which will cost you some hero souls in the process), you need to think ahead and plan the balance between starting zone to time to ascend. I will stress this is NOT put all you eggs in one basket. In this case putt all gilds on one hero.

The Masked Samurai: you cannot go wrong with this one, especially this particular hero is the most effecient when it comes to dps (damage per second) per gold spent. Also makes a great stepping stone for the heroes higher up the chain.

Bobby the Bounty Hunter: Would be good next hero to stack gilds on, he is good not great, and enough to get to Frostleaf.

Frostleaf: For this hero, you will start noticing a difference in damage output for Frostleaf and onwards.

Atlas: This hero hugely makes a difference in damage output and worthwhile to put a portion of gilds on.

After Atlas, the other heros can be distributed more with these, Terra, Pthalo, Cadmia and Astrea. Remember all heores do add dps as a whole. When farming, heroes needs to be balanced to climb at a decent rate to reach you target zone before ascending with as little time as possible.

Heroes Not Worth Gilding

King Midas, Betty Clicker, Ahemotep, Abbadon. These by far is not worth putting any gilds on since they do not have much damage to begin with, just be a waste.

You can put more on certain heroes to boost to help gain access to higher heroes. With your game, find what the best balance to re-gild one hero to make it to the next.

Power Ups

Starting out...

This part is for when you go from early to mid game. Most will start the early part as a idle build since it does take a long time. Be patient. If you stick with it, you will be rewarded by recognition from others. Okay lets talk about transitioning your build to a hybrid. Taking advantage of both worlds and active builds can be very powerful in itself. Which is best to use at the last little bit of zone progress before ascending. Make the most of it.

So you should be able to get past Frostleaf and have the rest of the ancients available. From top-down the power ups are hotkeyed 1 thru 9. So i will list them as such. We will talk about combinations.

Damage output - 1,2,3,9,8,7 once its over some of your power ups should be ready soon and continue to keep the combo going by using 1,2,3 again and 1,2 again after.

Gold increase - 1,4,8,5,9 as this finishes you can continue again 1,5

Its all about the timing and there are many combinations you can use. but at least you can start thinking about timing type of power and use 8 to double the effect for the next power up you use and 9 to reduce the cooldown of the last skill you use. Use the hotkays and play with it.
