Step 1 - Build Staff Of Ice

On round 8, a Mimic monster will spawn. Kill the Mimic and collect the Monocle.

Shoot the purple fire torches until they are both in front of 2 murals.

Shoot the symbols on each mural in order starting from the number 1. (in Roman Numbers)

Start the lockdown sequence. Once you've completed both lockdowns, you'll have the 2 staff parts.

Travel to the Dark Aether Nexus and insert the parts in the middle structure, where there's a hole.

Step 2 - Upgrade Staff Of Ice

Find 3 purple fire torches, shoot them with the Staff of Ice in under 10 seconds.

You know you've completed the step if you hear a voice quote from Archibald.

After that, go back to the Dark Aether and find 3 floating rocks in the sky. Shoot the rocks with the ice staff and memorize the symbols on them.

Travel back to the real world and find 1 of the 4 portals is now closed. Shoot the ice staff on the symbols you got from the rocks in the dark aether and go through the portal when it opens.

Follow the purple orb, fill it with purple zombie souls and keep very close to it or you will fail.

When it reaches its destination, interact with the purple aura in the middle of the aether nexus and upgrade your staff.

Step 3 - The Vermin Trial

With the revive beam of your staff, in the dark aether, shoot the crystal on the spider statue.

Interact with the energy and take it to the spawn aread where there's a statue with spider purple.

Kill all spiders and then take the energy back to the spider statue in the Dark Aether, without getting hit more than 3 times.

Step 4 - The Parasyte Trial

In the Dark Aether, shoot the Parasyte Statue's crystal with your revive beam. (press b on keyboard) with the Staff of Ice. Collect the energy and take it to the Parasyte Statue by the yellow portal.

Collect energy by elimating parasytes in the trial and deposit energy in the statue. Collect when done and return to the dark aether nexus to deposit the energy in the statue.

Step 5 - The Doppel Trial

In the Dark Aether, shoot the Doppelghast Statue's crystal with your revive beam. (press b on keyboard) with the Staff of Ice. Collect the energy and take it to the doppel Statue by the green portal.

Eliminate all threats and take the energy back to the dark aether statue of the Doppel.

Step 6 - The Amalgam Trial

in the Dark Aether, shoot the amalgam crystal on the statue with your revive beam on your staff.

Take the energy to the red portal and place it in the Amalgam statue. Defeat the mini boss and take the enrgy back to the dark aether Amalgam statue and place it without taking too much damage.

Step 7 - Boss Battle

Once all 4 challenges are done, go to the dark aether, interact with the pedestal that has all of the glowing symbols on it and a bridge will form. Prepare for the final battle.

Shoot the Sentinel Artifact when it's purple. Wonder Weapons won't work.
