[OUTDATED SINCE 10/21/2024] how to buy, install, and play cod games on cod hq

Step 1: What Games Work With Cod Hq?

This is the CoD HQ App:

You NEED this for playing the following games:

CoD Modern Warfare II (2022):

CoD Black Ops 6:

CoD Warzone (Free-To-Play):

these 4 work with cod hq

Step 2: Buying The Games

click "add to cart" to add the game to your cart

then click "view your cart"

then click "continue to payment", enter your card info, and purchase the game

Step 3: Installing The Games.....

oh activision, i hate you for making cod hq

first install cod hq, then follow this step

right click "Call of Duty" in your steam library

click properties

then select dlc and your dlc menu should look like this

select whatever modes and games you want installed or uninstalled

and thats it

Step 4: Playing Cod Hq

if you thought that was bad, it only gets worse...

you may run into "update requires restart

"

this is normal and happens on first launch and when an update is released

CoD will have to pre-load shaders

this is highly recommended and i recommend not playing until the shader pre load is finished

what a terrible UI

this ui is used to launch the games

this menu can be used to get to the games faster

there is also a legacy games menu where you can launch games from the WZ1 era of CoD (These games do not require CoD HQ)

Launching an title that isnt Warzone/The Current CoD or the Campaign mode of a cod game will have a screen like this show up

then it will launch a different executable associated with that game
