Opening Words
First of all, thanks for stopping by my guide! I'd like to say I'm not doing this to steal the thunder away from other creators, it's just that I find it way easier to open Steam Guides when doing easter eggs on my favourite maps and I can't seem to find one on Terminus. Thus I've spent hours creating a guide that is as comprehensive as possible for veterans and newcomers alike.
I've created this guide mainly out of GIF's to make sure the steps are as easy to understand as possible, so the page may load a tad slowly. I might change the formula on my next guide.
This guide will get updated when new easter eggs get discovered or if we find new information on the previous easter eggs.
I can create a main quest guide if there is enough demand for it but I can already see a couple of them on Steam Guides, but feel free to let me know!
P.S. I'm not sure if I'll be doing Liberty Falls as I want to take a break from creating guides for a bit. I will definitely do it if this Guide gets enough attention, though.
The Secret Song (Can You Hear Me? By Megan Rice & Kevin Sherwood)
To activate the secret song you need to find three Mister Peeks themed headphones and hold your activate button on them, if done correctly you will hear a confirmation sound coming off the headphones.
The first one can be found after leaving the Staminup room and looking right while descending down the stairs.
The second one can be found inside the mine, just across the PHD Flopper machine.
The third and final one can be find in the conference room in the Bio Lab.
The Song is called Can You Hear Me? by Megan Rice & Kevin Sherwood.
Beamsmasher Quest (Free Wonder Weapon)
Before we begin, you will need to get the Dead Wire ammo mod on one of your weapons for the start of the quest, so go ahead and get it from an Arsenal Machine!
To begin, turn on all three AMP generators and resurface the PaP (Pack-a-Punch) machine. Once done, hit the button across the PaP machine to activate the elevator.
Keep staring at the side where the button is and quickly hit the power boxes with your gun that has Dead Wire on it. Keep following the electricity and shooting power boxes until you reach the door as shown below:
After you kill the crushed zombie inside and retrieve the dropped AMP item, head to the sea tower where Elemental Pop is and interact with the briefcase and pick-up the Multiphasic Resonator.
Head back to the secret room you opened and plug in the retrieved item. You must now go to three different locations on the main island and enable the terminals found there. After that return to the computer and press the activate key, this will place three sticky notes with the symbols that were on the screens.
You now have two choices: Solve the puzzle or pay Peck 5000 Essence/Points by going back to the room that has the first AMP generator and interacting with him. If you choose to pay him, he will display the code on a monitor facing you and you can just skip to inputting the code into the computer.
If not, here's how to do the puzzle:
First you need to figure out what X, Y & Z represent. You can do this by going to the white board behind the computer and looking at the corresponding symbol that was on the sticky note. After locating the symbol, first take the letter that is on the same row(horizontal line) as your symbol and then the one in the same column(vertical line)! For example, if the row says 2 and the column says 1 the result is 21. Now do this for the other two symbols.
After you figure out X, Y & Z finish the math equations next to the crafting bench and input the codes.
The picture shown below is an example from my game, there is a super high chance that the code will not work in your game!
After you enter the correct code by either means, you will need to wait a round until the computer can find the island you are looking for. Note: You can't just look around the islands for the next step, the orb will not spawn if you skip this step.
The computer will announce when the island is located, you need to go back and take Multiphasic Resonator into your inventory. Also take note of the marked island on the screen and travel there. You can mark the same location in your map (Open the map by pressing M and press ALT over the island) or you can just travel around until you find a glowing orb on one of the beaches.
Once you make it to the island, place the Multiphasic Resonator under the orb and wait until it "marks" a zombie.
Either kill that zombie while they are in the orb, or kill the zombie, then pick up and carry the energy ball they drop into the big orb (You can pick the dropped orb up by activating it even though there are no prompts). You need to do this two times per orb.
Once you are done, pick up the Multiphasic Resonator and follow the orb that is now flying away.
Repeat this process two more times and pick up the final piece required to craft the wonder weapon.
All you have to do now is return to the secret room and craft the wonder weapon, enjoy!
Tip: Even though the weapon deals a lot of damage by default, the real trick is Right clicking towards the zombies to weaken them quite significantly to all damage.
Captain's Talisman (PERMANENT Double Points)
Yes, you've read right. You can gain a PERMANENT Double Points by doing this quest, but there is a catch.
First things first, you need to get yourself the Melee Macchiato perk and then proceed to the breakable wall just behind Speed Cola and punch it.
After it is broken, the captain will tell you to go get his watch. You can find his watch by looking at the X on the map. (You can also find the watch by chance before breaking the wall, skipping this step entirely)
Once you have retrieved the watch, return it to him.
After a bit of lore, he will tell you to burn three corpses that belonged to his former crew. You can again find them by looking at the X's on the map.
Before you head off, you need to get yourself at least three molotov's (or thermo grenades, but they are super finicky here). You can also do this step as you acquire flammable consumables but beware, the targets are quite strong on higher rounds.
Once you get hold of some molotovs head over to one of the skeletons. They can be a little tricky to find so I have laid out their precise locations below:
Once you are there, throw your molotov at the skeleton. If done correctly, the crewmate will talk to you and attack you as a super beefy mangler. Defeat them and return the coin to the captain.
BEWARE: Once you pick up a cursed coin, you cannot regenerate your health! So be careful!
Once you have returned all three cursed coins to the captain, he will reward you with assorted rewards, but not the permanent double points.
For the double points you need to follow the marked spot on the map once more and head to Crab Island and survive there for three rounds, after which a chest will spawn with the cursed talisman in it!
With the cursed talisman, you have permanent double points AND IT STACKS WITH THE DOUBLE POINTS POWER UP FOR QUADROUPLE POINTS.
...Buuut you also lose a hefty amount of essence/points every couple of hits you take.
You can see below I lost 1363 essence/points which was 10% of my total points! (9.99706616% to be exact)
So you can take the talisman back to the chest if you don't want the risk or if you are done with it.
BEWARE: I've read that boss fights can disable the double points aspect while retaining the penalty, so return the talisman before doing any boss fights.
Culinary Delight (Fish Cooking Achievement)
Doing this side easter egg will unlock the Culinary Delight achievement as well as giving a (very) temporary boost to your selected ammo mod.
To do this easter egg you need two things, the rest are optional parts that can boost your ammo mod for a very short time by increasing it's activation rate. And yes, you can collect all of the ingredients.
Cooking Oil Required
Fish Required
Notes: You cannot kill the smaller fish, also the fish apparently get added to the inventory upon kill, however it still doesn't hurt to go up to them and press the activation key, as I haven't tested this myself. They can be found near most shores, they can be killed using any explosives. They also drop assorted loot, so feel free to go after them even after finishing this easter egg.
Chili Optional - Boosts Napalm Burst
Notes: It is near the entrance to the kitchen, between the eggplants.
Mushroom Optional - Boosts Shadow Rift
Notes: It is in the dirt trail outside of Quick Revive, growing near the concrete ridge.
Salt Optional - Boosts Cryo Freeze
Notes: It is above the fridge, near the pool table.
Battery Optional - Boosts Dead Wire
Notes: It is on the table right across from you when you enter the workshop from the Juggernog side.
Brain Optional - Boosts Brain Rot
It is on a scale near one of the gurneys in the Bio Lab.
Once you have all the ingredients, go back to the spot you picked up the cooking oil and spam the activation key on the pan, this will place all the ingredients you have.
Now, let it cook for one round, then go back to it and hold your activation key. This will consume the fish, rewarding you with the achievement and the temporary activation rate boost.
BEWARE: It will burn if you cook it for more than one round!
BEWARE: When I did this side easter egg in co-op, my friend wasn't able to consume the dish after me, so this is a one time use thing, making it even more useless!
The Mega Stuffy (Companion)
Completing this side quest will reward you the Mega Stuffy which will attack zombies (it deals nearly no damage) and revive you!
To assemble the Mega Stuffy you must first collect the six missing plushies.
In no particular order:
Unicorn In the Staminup room, inside one of the lockers.
Monkey On the bridge leading to the sea tower, on the other side of the fence.
Elephant In the mines, next to the gobblegum machine.
Teddy Next to one of the gurneys in the Bio Lab, under the IV holder/desk thingy.
Giraffe On the western part of the Crab Island, behind a spotlight.
Cactus In a container filled with trash on the shipwreck.
Once you collect all the stuffies, head to the beds near the Juggernog machine and activate one of the stuffies. They will then thank you by giving you gifts and then assemble into the MEGA STUFFY.
Note: I am not sure how long it stays with you, I've gone done once and it didn't leave despite reviving me. Feel free to let me know in the comments!
Whack-A-Crab (Assorted Rewards, Including A Free Perk)
By following doing this easter egg you can earn 4 different rewards, including a free perk!
All you need to do is head to crab island and destroy the crab trap shown below with an explosive.
Once that is done head to one of four Whack-a-Crab locations and hit them with your melee weapon. (Default keybinding to get your melee weapon out is to hold your melee key or hold Y/Triangle)
You get different rewards based on the location you play the minigame at.
Note: The free perk can only be picked up by one player and unlike the random perk power up, this can give you a duplicate perk, in which case, you cannot pick it up. Thus, it is best to do this easter egg when you don't have many perks.
Shooting Down A Meteor (Assorted Rewards)
Before we begin, you will need to get the Dead Wire ammo mod on one of your weapons for the start of the quest, so go ahead and get it from an Arsenal Machine!
To start the quest, turn right immediately upon leaving Stamin up and shoot the antenna above the building with a gun that has Dead Wire on it, and then run down the stairs and do the same thing to the tower over the workshop in quick succession.
If successful, the towers will stay lit. You can now head towards the giant cannon and fire it up with some zombies below it. If done correctly, the batteries on it's side will glow purple and shoot down a meteor.
Follow the meteor and pick up your rewards, and if your round is high enough and you are lucky enough, you can even get a wonder weapon!
Toy Boat Racing (Assorted Rewards)
To start the race, head to one of the three spots marked below and search for the boat with the blinking light. You might even find the right one on your first try if you are lucky!
Once you have found the blinking boat, go up to it and press the activation button. If playing solo, this will start the race immediately. If you are in co-op this will start a vote, and then the race if the vote is successful.
Once the race is over, the participants will be teleported back to the docks for their rewards (the rewards depend on how well you have performed).
Free Random Perk (Cages)
To get a free random perk, head to the Bio Lab and shoot zombies in the cages shown below.
The cages are next to the conference room.
Once you make sure all the zombies are dead, proceed to the next round. If done correctly, this will spawn vermin inside the cages. Kill them and proceed to the next round.
If done correctly there will now be a mangler in one of the cages. Once you kill him, you will get a free random perk.
BEWARE: These steps must be done back to back. In my experience, skipping a round would fail the easter egg.
Free Random Perk (Pustules)
To get a free random perk, you need to get on a boat and visit the small non-traversable islands around the map.
Eventually you will come upon a island invested with pustules. You need to shoot every single pustule from your boat (You can ignore the parasites).
After destroying the pustules finish the round and look for another island with pustules, destroy them as well. Finish the round and look for another island with pustules. Destroy them and then head to the Speed Cola cave, where you will now find pustules inside the cave. You will receive the free random perk after destroying the pustules.
Note: In my experience, unlike the cage easter egg, you can skip rounds between shooting pustules and still complete the easter egg.
Free Power Up Locations
There are several Power Ups around the map that can be activated by shooting them.
Max Ammo: On a watchtower that can be shot from the wrecking yard.
Double Points: Behind some boxes in the conference room of the Bio Lab.
Insta Kill: On Temple Island, inside the ruins.
Ka-Boom: On Crab Island, inside one of the zombie spawn locations.
Bonus Points: On the shipwreck, above a doorframe that can be shot through the windows.
Full Power: On the side of the Sea Tower that cannot be entered, use a boat to get a better angle for this one.
Basketball (Essence/Points)
A basketball is stuck on the roof. You can shoot it down with a Pack-a-Punched weapon to score some easy Essence/Points.
BEWARE: Shooting the ball with an un-Pack-a-Punched weapon will fail the easter egg.
Rebreather (More Oxygen While Underwater)
You can find a rebreather just under the Pack-a-Punch elevator that can help you stay underwater longer!
All you have to do is go to this rock that has the rebreather under it and blow it up using an explosive.
Pool Table (Essence/Points)
You can score some easy Essence/Points by just shooting the balls on the pool table. The pool table is in the same room as the Juggernog, just go up the stairs.
Elevator Jumpscare
To trigger the "jumpscare" sequence, first the elevator must be upstairs. Once it is in position, you must jump and land as soon as the doors to the elevator close. That's all. You can also achieve this by spamming jump as soon as you pay.
Note: You can also trigger this without being in the elevator. I did this on accident while calling the elevator down to the Bio Lab. You can use this to scare your friends!
Teleporting Using The Beamsmasher
You can teleport to a random spot using the Beamsmasher's alternate fire on the tablets with the Sentinal Artifact etched on them.
